Well im reactivating my account for another go ( i tried the game at release but it seemed somewhat superficial) and i was thinking wich classes are chosen the most. So wich class are you playing as your main character, and why, if you wish to say =)

Wich is your main?

For me its hunter,

i like it easy and hunters travel fastest. I dont have much time to play but with hunter i can always shoot some arrows and log out again.

its also fun that so many hunters are out there, makes it easy to ask questions about the class.

groups with only hunters are fun.

For me its hunter. The hunter involves a lot of tactics and they looks awesome as hobbits lol

Played: WoW, Guild wars, Eve, SWG, and more

I'm absolutely addicted to being a Burglar. I feel like a Champion with style. There's nothing like having six white cons on you and just giggling and you knock them out, riddle them and basically cause absolute mayhem. Sort of reminds me of the old swashbuckler movies with the fencer holding off a army. Not to mention we can heal damned well! Worse comes to worse you take a bow and run like hell! No one runs away as well as a Burg!

I don't see things getting much better than playing a minstrel.  Send me your wounded, your dying, your 3 aggroed mobs and I can handle it all.  Can handle elite mobs solo that other classes can't, self heals, buffs, burst damage.  Can set you character up as a solo fighter or a group buffer.  I am always a welcome addition to a group, really gonna be difficult leveling up my alt(s) after havinf such a great experience with my Mini.

I'm playing a guardian. I actually came in with the idea to play a champion (and by the way, I understand that there are more champions in game than many other classes so even though there aren't many on your poll, you might get far more later on) but because I soloed a lot I noticed that I had a lot of resting time. I noticed somone playing a guardian in the starter player area so I rolled one. As soon as I shield slammed my first enemy I knew that this was the class for me.

I usually play damage dealers and mainly nukers in other games but Guardian really spoke to me. It's tough, I can take on 3 equally lvled characters and walk away with no problems, take on elites (not two at once.. not at this moment anyways) and solo very well.

I also like the idea of charging into battle without worrying that I'm going to be decimated in a few hits.

I ran into a bard yesterday who was level 23 fighting the Trolls in the lonelands and simply decimating them. In runs me I was level 25 and I barely was able to hold my own as a Burglar. Mind you I never fell in battle but this Minstrel was tearing through them. Once we joined up... Holy Mackrel! Mins and Burgs Duo SOOO WELL!

My main character is a Lore-Master, as I like a challenge in a playable class even as a casual gamer.  The reason that I began playing that class was for the crowd control, the pet, and while Turbine refuses to acknowledge the existence of magic in the world, I like laying the proverbial 'smack-down' to assist my wife who plays a Captain as her main character.

Lower level Lore-Masters can be frustrating, but if you like a challenge and really enjoy the class in higher levels, then this one is for you. =)

And why is the champion so low? Generally this melee dps'ers tend to be overplayed =P  is it that bad?

I played the Hunter for a month or so up to lvl 45 and really enjoyed it. I always like playing to ranged, nuker type classes, and thats pretty much it in LOTRO. Ended up canceling my account though, as once I got closer to max lvl I realized there wasn't really anything to do. Recently reactivated for a month to test it out again, however I got the same feeling. Probably won't play it even again, but it is fun for a time.

Lore-Master, a neglected but skillful class :)

(never thought that we're the least played - but again, 81 ppl is not the whole world :)

Hunter and Champion competing for my favorite; Lore-Master for down time and running with friends who are giving the game a try.

Captain. The Champion seems to be low in this poll, I see alot of em in game. LM is for sure least played class. on silverlode I would say, from what ive seen, most played to least: hunter, guardian, champion, minstrel, captain, burgler, loremaster.

i must say i love the fact that all the classes are generally evenly played, we dont have 50% hunters and 2% tanks, every class in lotro is fun and fun to play, both solo and fellowship

I think hunters and champs outweigh all the other classes (not necessarily combined though). Burgs seem to be few and far between. Captains next. But it is indeed a very wonderful thing that every class can solo well and brings something of value to fellowships.

As per my sig, I'm a captain.

I've only played a little lotro and I think guardian sounds the best for me at this time. Of course, he's only level 10, so /shrug.

hunter for me i love my elf hunter. awesome class i absolutely own with her. got 2 great gondorian swords with +16 agility and fate and power i think forget which and a great lebrathron bow. but otherwise my agility is really high 245+ at lvl 35 just got a bit boring, not being able to group with people, might be the time i come, or the server im on found it hard at times to get groups, but oh well neither here or there. overall i found the game fun. finally got myh horse before i canceled my sub so that was nice.
