I wanted firstly Guardian i read lot of things about them and some people think that solo can do better with 1h + Shield and if i Use Polearm Build i lose some of my tanking abilities... I will play on PVP server and i want a viable class so im Thinking about Conqueror but the Q is can i do good dps with him and can survive in 1vs1 to etc Assasin? Help plx! |

Doesn't the Herald of Xotli use two-handers also? |

Herald of Xotli's melee attacks are specifically designed for 2h edged weapons. Its a very fun class, plus you get a creepy looking demon shapeshift form |

I started off with a Barbarian which i played to level 10 - great fun. Wanted to try some other classes before i settle in with one so i went for Tempest of Set. This one was different but still fun to play and i stopped at level 12. I went for another spin, this time with a Guardian. The first thing i noticed was that i was really plowing through the enemies and it felt much quicker to gain in level. I guess the Guardian is both stronger and hit harder but i am currently only level 9 so it is to early to say anything... except that i might stick with this one. |

Barbarian or Conqueror I'd say. They deal a ton of damage though, its just all centered around fire damage from melee I think. The length of time it takes some combos to go off seem slow in one on one situations; 'specially compared to Conquerors and Barbarians, but when dropping 4-5 NPCs at a time, its quite predictable and dependable combined with spells. Feats make a few fire-related abilities spread and leap regardless of whether or not you successfully lined a buncha NPCs up within the arc of your swipe. |

Stand up for what you believe; Even if you stand alone. |
I found Barbarian to be the most fun after having beta'd almost every class. This was a surprise to me, personally as I had originally been a big fan of the 'Conqueror' class. After playing, I'm certainly a rogue as my top three choices are: Barbarian - 2 hander, duel wielded and bow and arrow... they're all choices I love. They're pretty tough and do plenty of damage. Assassin - Fast and deadly if you can move ;) Ranger - Kind of felt like a weaker Barbarian to me though, but it was still fun. The thing is with bow/arrow tactics is, the enemy NPC's run CRAZY fast at you and don't seem to spend any of their stamina which I personally think is BS. If I spend stamina running, so should they but I digress... it was stil fun.
Note - assassin / ranger are of course not 2 handers. |
