I've been reading about retail purchase and buddy keys, timecards and such but I have not been able to confirm if the game has any monthly fees. Here are my questions.

 

Does it have any monthly fees or is it just a one-time purchase?

 

The buddy key, is it timed? does it have to be upgraded to a retail account or does it work like a regular retail key?
