The game is pretty fun considering nothing else is around at the moment  ,

however its lacking some polish . I feel it was released a bit early with alot of bugs.

For example :

*Some spell animations get stuck and until you zone.

*Body parts disappearing.

* Bounce back when using charge skill.

*Getting stuck . /stuck

-- Im sure there are a heap of others these are mainly cosmetic tho.

I guess in a few months most issues will be dealt with tho .

The new in AoC is the graphics which happens at the same time be its downfall, as instances and copies are being used to cut up the world so people can MOVE their avatars.

WE have yet to see how well the stuttering of frames wil be when 48vs48 people will fight in one instance. It is NO surprise these Siege battles are not even included until ...main (bought) reviews will be published.

Everything was sacrificed to those graphics, NOT alone open seamless worlds, but also community (pure solo instances), blocking of paths that remined me of the 90's RPG, and very limited replay value and of course stuttering PvP fights.

The so called "new" combat system is only half new, because the only thing you do is 1 2 6 1 2 3 4 etc button smashing which becomes VERY annoying once you're two weeks into the game.

The system does NOT have the same control as "shooters" while the biggest problem this buttom smashing delivers is even MORE lag because the server-client speeds are being effected by it (no downtime meaning the fastest clients win).

--------

These 2 factors alone are FAR worse than some trivial remarks of "getting stuck and unstuck commands".

Because they can NOT be remedied, until everyone has 32 GByte of central RAM and 2 GBYte video cards (should be around 2012) .

A good specimen of a non-factual hater post.

I never would have thought that WoW would actually need defenders on these forums. Trying to keep up a facade of objectivity would give more credibility to your would-have-liked-them-to-be arguments.

The so called defenders are just more of disgruntled players looking to bash a game that is barely out. All games with have issues on release. No matter how polished or unpolished it might be.  I will also add that this post seems more along the lines of personal opinion. You can hate it all you like but people are still gonna play it.  One thing alot of these basers need to get is some real hard proof information, not just your word.
