Hmm was looking at the vids, and combat does seem a little slow paced and sluggish, especially the shaman casting.

yes it is a little slower then WOW, there is more emphasis on tactics and thinking things out then reflexes.

How do you know that unless you're breaking NDA? :) Slower doesn't automatically mean there's more tactical decisions etc :)

Please take a closer look at PvP vids that seem slow. You'll probably notice that skills are being mouse clicked.

Then fire up good the old WoW and try to duel using mouse clicks for PvP.

See the point? Most of those vids are by people who are playing it for the first time and have no idea what skills they have, what are the shortcuts etc.

I've seen some vids made by people who seem to know what they're doing and they look a-ok to me. The combat seems to last a bit longer than in WoW (there it goes again) but it doesn't look much slower to me.

Hmm, hopefully its fine, but I was watching the shammie vid and the cast time and attack rate made the combat seem kinda slow. Probably need to actually try it to be sure tho. Tactical stuff will be nice and there's good stuff about not insta killing people to allow them to react but you have to make it feel exciting too.

In the shaman video it was like.... cast.... ugh.... cast.... ugh.... cast..... kinda sluggish. Don't think it had anything to do with the button clicking tho.
