WAR (Warhammer Online)

For the record, just so there is no confusion:
Warhammer online is going to be one hell of a great MMORPG (for many people), period.

Now, different games are for different people and there will be some people constantly comparing it to some other big title.  Doesn't matter, WAR is still one hell of a great MMORPG.

And no matter what you people say, and no matter how many comparisons you make to some other game, people will play it and people will love it, and there will be people who think it's actually better for them, actually, then some other big name MMO, for real.  Like actually. 

And this will be their opinion which they are entailed to.

And numbers (of subscribers) do not mean anything when it comes to how great a game is.  I know you think it does, but it doesn't.  CoX is a great example of this and is prof that you can have a great (in some people options) MMO with small (ish) numbers.

And you can have WAR and some other titles all be good and popular, it's ok.  There doesn't have to be just one MMORPG.  I don't know why some of you think there does, but there doesn't. 

To sum up:
A) WAR will be a great MMO.
B)  Sub numbers don't matter (to a point obviously)
C) There can be more than one
D) There will be people playing WAR, they will like it, they will like it (in their opinion which they can have) more then some other big name MMO.

As far as what is the best?  There is no best, sorry, there doesn't have to be, there never will be, different people like different things.  This is why we have more than one to pick from.  THERE IS NO BEST.  More sub number != best game period.  You can and will have several games that are great,WAR will be one of them.

So – WAR is going to be great and there isn't anything you people can do about it, try as you might, so just except it now.

yes war will be great and i will be playing it. The thing i love most is the fact that i will be playing war, will annoy a lot of fanbois from other mmo's, which is hilarious.

Lol can't say I don't agree *shruggs*. It should be a really good game according to all the podcasts I've been keeping up with. A lot of substance and depth in character generation/advancement, and a lot of different things to do in game depending on the mood you're in. You can be anywhere and do anything you want, and you'll contribute to your living/breathing town.

But you're right OP. As long as there's enough people for challenging, competitive RvR, and the game is finished and fun (as much as possible at launch of course), I don't care how many people are playing.

WarHammer should quickly and easily jump into the #2 spot for largest player base for MMO's.

As long as Mythic is backing up the hype with a solid game and  open beta does well, this game will explode. WoW built the player base, now they are ready for something new with fresh ideas, but yet similar, and that is WAR.
