Im downloading a legacy trial thing for everquest 2 because im bored waiting for WAR. Is everquest 2 like this? I played for about a month at release and than a full month for that comeback thing they did, i got highly addicted and mad when it ended. So will i have fun with everquest 2 like i did with this?

Why don't you just keep playing Vanguard?


EQ2 is much more linear, path driven than Vanguard. Vanguard is much more open and free in terms of your choices. EQ2 does not diplomacy. EQ2 has a rich history and abundance of quests in comparison. EQ2's environments leave much to be desired while Vanguard feels more like a world. EQ2's models feel more like a character, while the armor and weaponry I feel isn't as nice as Vanguards. Vanguard has an abundance of mounts both ground and flight while EQ2 doesn't offer as much. EQ2 has received quite a bit of needed polish, while Vanguard is getting there.

Its a toss up as there are many pro's and con's to both games. Once again, why don't you just stick with Vanguard if you enjoy as much as you have said?

Im not subscribing to EQ 2, because warhammer is coming out so soon. If it turns out i hate warhammer in atleast a month or less then il resubscribe to Vanguard no problem. Im just playing the EQ trial because the CE closed beta starts around the 15th. If anyone has a key il be glad to play this instead till then though.

Why would anyone waste a key on someone who is only looking for something to mess around with for a short length of time?

 

If you were honestly wondering how the VG:SOH game play was like and considering playin it then maybe a key would be spared. Anyways good luck with messing around in EQ2 until WAR releases.
