WAR (Warhammer Online)

So I haven't kept up with the War news. I admit.

This might have happened a while back, but it looks like they've removed some of the classes from the game.

It looks like the only race to have their original 4 classes are the Chaos and high elves.

Now, I am usually willing to give a game a chance.

There are a lot of people who give game developer's shit about removing certain features from games, one example is when they removed the whole "Growth" thing from WAR (Orks get bigger, beards get longer, etc.)

That didn't really bother me, because it was a fluff feature, It didn't really hurt the game much.

But removing classes? Especailly one of the cooler greenskin classes?

WHAT?

Now, there's only one orc class to play. The Black Ork.

The other two are friggin' goblins. GG mythic for leaving the most prominent race in the greenskins with just 1 class.

They didn't just remove some of the classes, either. They had to remove some of the cooler classes.

Anyway, you might say BAAW, or QQ, or whatever.

Say what you will, but this does dissapoint me.

And this was done because the classes just weren't fun enough to play, according to beta testing and such.

Also: BAAAWWW QQQQQQ OLD NEWS IS OLD

That kinda makes it worse, because they should have worked on them to make them fun to play.

With the recent antics like throwing out the release date before their EU partners even knew of it and things like cutting classes and cities  it's definately looking like delay was *not* an option anymore unless what they had seriously wasn't working well at all.

Yeah, and unlike other developers, Mark Jacobs actually posted valid reasoning as to why they made the decisions they did. I don't see a problem.

Something is wrong with this picture.

And by cooler, I mean more interesting.

Not like I got into beta or anything.

The classes removed were actually ones I was interested in.

Yeah something is wrong with it. WoW stole warhammer lore...

But really at least the orcs in Warhammer talk like ORCS...

At least they act and look more like ORCS LoL.

Everytime i watch a WAR video and see a fat orc runnin around clubbin people i think to myself...jeez blizz get a clue!.
