I actually find it funny that someone who dislikes so much about a game to spend 100s of dollars on it. Anyway, I thought I should add my two cents to this argument. First off I am crazy for 3D graphics and Character creation. I 3D model in my spare time. So, being able to create a character like the way u can in this game and then walk around in such a beautiful game is already enough for me. But more to the point. They spent almost $4 million on this game and you think you can get to the end of the game for free? Good luck. If I was a games company I would create free games too and then find a way to make a profit. This way you get a flood of potential customers. However, I would continue giving people lots of quest and storyline but give them less and less XP for it as they advance. This way, people will look forward to the end and possibly pay me for it. I am nowhere close to the levels you guys are on but I tend to jump from one free MMO to another. PW is not perfect but it has the potential. If they don’t listen to what western customers want then they will loose out in the west. There are lots of other MMOG companies that want to get into the West. One of them might copy all the benefits of PW and add what western people want. But for now I am amazed with what they have created. I think And one other thing, I am dyslexic and yes I typed this up in Word before pasting it here. So don’t come down on me too hard if you find mistakes. |

I actually am American and do use the cash shop but I play the game at my own pace. I am level 35 and not been pk'ed to date. Of course, I stay away from the world chat, do not insult anyone or ks them and give other players a wide berth when they have clearly established an area to grind. I have 1 of each female character and love everything about the game, except the inability to do world chat unless you buy something from the store (not sure if you can do this at higher levels). The higher levels in my guild do quests with us, and try to expecially help us with the quests they can get experience at. Only one of my characters is in a guild (my main). And I see the difference right away (better to be in a guild). There are bots - something I did not see before this week, and they often make quests (expecially timed ones) difficult when you have to kill a specific monster in a short period of time and they are there 'too'. Many get rich, I was fairly poor and spent my first $50,000 on a rare frog pet that was VERY underpriced. I used that money to buy more underpriced items (bathing suits, fairy outfits, etc..) and I resell them a little higher. I made 3 million doing this in just 2 weeks. I watch the huddle of shops and the auction house. Interesting too... My WF does not really sell many pets (not too successful at that). The money is in the garments I think... All MMORPG's grind you - somewhere, but in this one you can fly or get a mount that files (through a VERY easy quest), and land mounts are cheap if you just keep an eye out. I have seen flying swords (grade 1) for $10,000. Now even a newbie has that. But you can fly, swim, run, jump and under the water? Sharks and other monsters after you. It is a uber cool game, sure a later grind. I made level 20 in one day. Then I decided to poke around for a week and have yet to see 'everything'. Its just cool. Deb. |

try to play a warrior (bhuda skill) i dont know its english version skill but recovers hp
PW ph is more expensive i think but you can see players are at the highest levels
i am an elf priest it only takes me 3 months to reach level 82 but sad to say, im inactive for the meantime because of my work. but you can do many options in leveling up
if you were born with a golden spoon in your mouth, why dont you try lvl in crafting grinding is the most easiest style, but there are so many ways to level up you can try the so called dragon seeking quest, and hunt those loots. getting bored leads you to no way
why dont try to be a menyak |

Originally posted by popinjay Actually to make 250k in game is heaps easy and i had over 2 mil in game gold before i was lvl 18 i agree that later in game it does get hard but to be honest with you there are 2 things in item shop that are anygood and that is the hp and mp heiro's the exp scroll is only good when you solo as when you gruop exp is distributed between pty members hence wasting exp scroll and to the fact you said people spend real money to get fast pets? well all pets come out a base level and it is up to you to lvl them up to get them faster so i think that is a waste of a whinge if they have faster pets then you unfortunately that is bad luck on your part the game has alot more to do then just grind try doing dragon quest they get you great exp and bonuses without haveing to fight much at all plus you have eunice in Dragon city that gives the easiest exp in game it may only be once a day but it adds up to more exp every lvl you gain people are always selling cash shop items ingame so there is no need to spend cash in the shop unless you really want to i have not used any real money in this game yet i am currently sitting on just over 5 mil in gold at lvl 66 have just about everything i need from fully stated armour that will last me a further 6 lvl's to my Deity weapon that will last me a further 5 lvl's so if you use your head in this game you can do without the cash shop jsut shop around study the AH sell gear at good profit margins dont be greedy and you will come out on top all the time. |

Not really, because you can buy the coins needed for the cash shop in the auction house. I saved up and traded my in-game cash for coins used in the cash-shop and was able to purchase some of the items needed to level quicker. So no, it is not the same as the other cash-shop games you see online. I have also seen many people selling items they purchased in the cash shop in their little local shops, meaning in-game money is used. Deb. |

I agree that there is money to be made - I had no idea when I started to save and resell the 'green grass' - I got from killing turtles. For connection - the only time I have lags is when I have something running on my pc at the same time. I deleted some old programs and I am fine. I am an avid mmorpg player, and used to do the pay to play, and now try all free ones. Sure, Perfect World is not the end all to MMORPG's but it takes all of my favorites and combines them into one. So that's pretty cool. Deb. |
