I have a thread on this forums regarding me being falsely accussed for hacking. Anyhow, my funcom forum account seemed to be unbanned so I copied and pasted this exact post on the official forums. http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=156961

It was closed, locked and the key thrown away, but not before 56 people commented and over 1000 viewed it.

 In the post someone said yes I could be a victim of funcom or I could have very well been running hacks. However, wtf would posting my story do if I was hacking... im pretty sure I would say "oh they caught me" and stop doing it. However, no I was not hacking and the problem and reason I am posting this is because THERE IS NO WAY I CAN PREVENT FROM BEING BANNED IN THE FUTURE!

If you see my point then good, but im not sure if I can make it any clearer.

Anyhow, funcom used this person's excuse as a reason to close the thread. Glen Famine said yes this is a one sided story and blah blah blah and its personal, blah blah and take it up with our customer support.

Little does this A-hole know, Ive been chatting it up with their support and they are the worst I have ever experienced. Treating me as if there hacking prevention system (GM eyeballing the situation) is fool proof and I am some type of criminal.

I saw the thread and, amazingly, I actually believed you were NOT cheating.  99% of "I was banned but not cheating" threads are usually lies, but in a weird twist of fate, I believed your post.

Funcom banned several of our guildmembers for having too much gold, even though we were donating gold to build a city.  No investigation, just banned (for more than 24 hours I might add).  Totally retarded.

Anyway, perhaps that was enough of a push to get you to leave this crapfest known as AoC and move to another game.  Unfortunately for me, I had to endure endless hours of farming materials and broken seige fights before I caught on.

seriously why are you still playing this game ?....the devs are so freaking incompetent i doubt  they would be able to creat a prog to detect hacking any time soon, the best they can pull up with is GMs watching, so it will be you and the GM's mood, do your self a favor and quit, failcom need to close the doors, sostop giving them money

Sad to hear that you where threated this way. And the customer service is crap at best. Why have Funcom not looked into this for real? They can not ban people without real evidence? Well nothing surprise me annymore with Funcom. Ive heard the biggest cheating guild "ebonlore", cheated and are not getting banned for it. Sad, how honest customers just get threated like a pile of dung.

Good luck to you, stay optimistic. Try another game from another company, you cant get worse threatment than this.

Offer some cyber, they'll give ya whatever you want.

Cyber with them and you can blackmail them for 100g a pop - or get their GMs to help you exploit like some guilds have done

Funcom incompetencet: it worked for the others, it can work for you!

You'd be surprised how often we get threads here of people saying "OMG I WAS BANNED FOR NO REASON" and then it turns out they were buying gold or using powerleveling services and the company they hired was using bots, etc etc.

My point is, people who say they are innocent aren't always telling the truth. Surprising, I know.

Ebonlore's entire goal in life is to see how much they can cheat and get away with it. They switch games every time a new title comes out and cheat their asses off until they get banned or "beat the game" and then move on to something else.

I don't understand why people even play a game with this kind of stuff going on

My free time I have to play games is supposed to be hassle free and enjoyable. Something to sit around and relax for a few hours on a day off work.

Not worry about getting banned, cybered by GM's, or any other number of things wrong with AOC.

I bought the AoC box and played my free month up. I never trashed the game, just quit and moved on. Just cant see what people stick around AoC for
