Good ambient music, overall graphics, combat animations.. PC and mount movement still looks a little stiff to me. But otherwise, game is looking great.

I agree with Narshe, animations are somewhat stiff, but I'm pretty sure they'll improve over time

I really wish I could link a thread from the World of Warcraft Off-Topic Forums. It has a collection of videos that would knock your sox off.

Oh my good lord... My sincere apologies to all WAR fans, but that looked like graphics from the days of Daggerfall! Ya know, everytime I READ about WAR I was ecstatic about the great ideas. But everytime I see videos or screenies... geez, this looked awful. Sorry, I am really not trying to bash the game, but the character creation is the from a cheap F2P Asia grinder in its simpicity, and the graphics look like something between EQ1 and EQ2. The unbelievable simpicity of some of the parts, like that big fenced gate... I mean... thats like from Ultima Underworld graphics! Plus the characters when created with the random button... sheesh thats the most simplistic character creation I have seen in any game with a monthly fee. Really, I dont hate WAR in general, but this... it just made me shudder, sorry to say. And those hidious lightning in the combat... its like 1990ies or what. @__@

I respect that some dont care much about visuals, but I do.

I'm pretty sure no one would disagree with you about visuals helping with immersion, but visuals have a far greater downside than a positive one with our current technology.

Heres your current choices...

Spectacular graphics with tremendous lag ( This is a massive RvR game )
Decent graphics with minimal lag ( Even on lower end machines )

Who cares about how pretty a game looks if you can't even play it. Age of Conan was horrible with this concept which is why you had to upgrade to a super computer just to play it. That is poor marketing strategy as most people don't like having to shovel out $1,000 or more on a new computer game.

WAR is about massive battles of 50 vs. 50 and probably higher. DAoC is probably the only other game Ive played where it doesn't lag you out just because you got more than 25 people on your screen. WoW was pretty good with this, except when you got to around 200+ people, the zone/server would crash, so capital raids were next to impossible.

I'm not saying WAR is beautiful, but I will say it's fun. So if graphics are all your looking for, maybe you should check out AION or AoC and have fun with that.

I know I don't care about graphics, because high end graphics is why most all MMo's are failing. I have a better computer than most of you complaining about graphics, And I'm still happy to see.

Its only 2008 were not there yet, and I don't give a rats butt what kind of graphics card you have !!

As far as simple abilities, I'm sure playing the game is better than watching, just watch any youtube clips they suck for all games.
