Age of Conan

Its real simple, Funcom fucked up. Everybody who is playing or has played aoc knows this.

My issue is if the community continues bashing and hating on this game it has no chance of ever getting better.  I’m not saying funcom releasing an unfinished game is right. I’m not saying that there customer services is great lol because we all know it’s horrible.. but people posting hate topics and insult topics over and over when the game is three months old is pointless. Unless there goal is to fuck over funcom ever more and fuck over the people who like playing the game.. Then you are all doing a wonderful job.

I would love to know where all these people are when ea puts out another shit title like they do every year with their nascar, nba, ncaa, madden games and when they hype a game and release is full of bugs!

 I’ve have been playing games for over 10 years. I’ve played games from Age of empires, quake, doom, decent, civ, wow, eq, vanguard, simcity and hundreds of others but I have never seen a community out to get/kill a game more than Age Of Conan players/ex-players.

Again I’m not saying what funcom did was right by any means. They released a buggy, crash whore of a game but instead of post nothing but hate topics over and over.. Just don’t play/pay for the game anymore... sit back, play warhammer and wrath and come back in 6 months or however long you want.. but what everybody is doing isn’t helping anybody. Also don’t give me that whole.. We are voicing our opinions speech.. Because we all know its way past that point!

When people make topics laughing at announcements, saying future updates are going to blow well before there even released isn’t voicing your opinion. I know why people are making these posts but.. I mean, it’s really getting old!

For the record.. I do play AoC. I only have a 32 ranger. I only have time to play a few hours a week but when I do most of the time I fun. Yes not being able to click on the trader in my guild city because the mob is on the ground not the floor of the building sucks!

Of course people want Funcom to fail. You don't want them to have people forget this so they can make another game. People are working to ensure that Funcom is never allowed to make another game, because some people lose that right, like Brad McQuaid.

These posts are the funniest whining about people whining about a bad game, now I want to point something out to you for one this game that sold 700k boxes which should translate into 700k accounts created is bad enough that most of those 700k people are quitting and I think we all know people don't quit games because of the forums they quit because it either sucks or they can't play but to follow logic if 80 percent of the people who already bought the game found it to be crap why should another 10 people by the game if it will only work for two of those eight?

All of you who have been burned by funcom are in fact doing a wonderful job and should continue to spread the word about the shady practices of Funcom and op you should think long and hard about the 8 people you want to throw away their money so you can find those two players or better yet come at this problem from the right angle and demand better from funcom.

Half of those games you named aren't even mmo's which means they don't expect people to pay money to play past the first month of existence and let's imagine if you bought the sims and the sims were in it but no housing tools you telling me people wouldn't have made a big deal?
