SCIENCE PROVES CAPS LOCK CAN CURE CANCER. |

I was prepared to write, "No." But, for the actual question, the answer is, "We don't know yet." Obviously, the game hasn't been released yet. Secondly, that's really more of a personal opinion on if you believe either WoW or WAR is a better gaming experience. It's personal taste... one or the other isn't going to outright steal all of it's customers because customers all have different mindsets. |

The suspense is terrible. I hope it will last. |

You my friend are right on the money. I still play WoW and enjoy the BG's till my hands start to hurt, but at this point WoW PvP may be in trouble with the release of WAR, at least what I am experiencing in WAR Beta. Maybe with the release of WoW's Lich King Expansion the PvP will get better? I don't know, because I am not in WoW BETA for Lich King. I also see WAR dipping into Guild Wars Players Base (for those who dont mind to pay for a mmo) as well.

I think WAR will attract more of the PVP MMO veterans and that includes the ones who are playing WoW. I don't think it will bring over the players whos first MMO was WoW. Sure, they may give it a try but will surely go back to the comfort of easy mode and spamming trade chat trying to make comlete sentences by linking their abilities in the chat line. I've been playing MMO's for a verly long time and have been playing with the same people for years as we travel from game to game and I can tell you there is a lot of excitement of WAR's release. Not just because of all the specualtion of how good the game is going to be but going from game to game is part of the MMO culture. |

As a beta player... is WAR a WoW killer? If you love PvP, then the answer is a big YES!!! It's already better in than any MMO out there right now in beta form (in PvP I mean). If you love Loot and doing scripted instances... then maybe not, but WAR has Public Quest that is just so awesome~ |

just wanted to get my 2 cents in ..
WAR is not going to topple the massive numbers that wow has... BUT WAR will have 3 or 4 million subs within the first year of release and those players will stay (just my oppinion) i was interested in war but wasnt sure how it would pan out for me till i got into beta.. imo building a game with the best pvp from the ground up is better then building a game with addicting pve from the ground up and pvp as an after-thought(wow) in the end WAR will win out as time goes on but doesnt really matter cause if you like WoW your gonna play it if you like WAR your going to play it...if you like both your prolly gonna play both the point is ...Finally there is another "quality" mmo in the market to choose from. |

Strife is the single element, most essential to meaning and existence. |
Why does everyone keep saying "WoW killer" about every new game to come out? Why does it even matter? Just play the game you like, and be done with it. Nothing is going to kill WoW anytime soon, and why would you want that game's playerbase to deplete or move on? |

I don't think it will "kill" WoW. However I do think that the PvP crowd from WoW that come and give it a shot won't want to go back to WoW. They will probably go back for expansion, but If they enjoy a good PvP battle... well there's just no comparison between the two... at least in my opinion. |

In fact now that I think on it, the casual players will love the game as well. Public quests are awesome. |

Here's my take on it... If you compare WoW to WAR based on Revenue and raw profit, WoW will win. Now, if WAR turns a profit, I think it will be considered a success. It is my belief that each game unto itself will be a success. I'd say more, but NDA.
