Active SWG accounts get a free booster pack(s) every month or so, in which all 'free' cards are no trade. If you want more booster packs (most are looking for loot cards), then those packs will cost you. Bought cards are tradable, even the loot ones. I have read that once a bought loot card is redeemed, then item becomes no trade. Right so to get any benefit out of the card game (loot cards) there is a cost. Therefore it's yet another SOE scam. It is only a scam to those willing to spend untold amounts of money in their quest for the newest and rarest 'shiny' that only the loot cards can give. Each booster pack cost $2.99 US, or the bargain box of 36 packs for $99.99 US. |

What's even sadder is that they are trying to pass it off as content for the players. |

And since they'll likely remove the thread as they've been doing over at the Oboards when somebody brings this up...

In order to compete with others/no decay, I have to sell said items for really cheap. (No disrespect) New Guildmate (played less than 3 months) buys 10 packs of cards. Gets 2 loot cards and sells them both for a combined mass of 400mil. Is it just me, or did this game just become "Hey ,I bought a pack of cards full of rare game loots and content that you'll never get to craft." All they did was bust the stitches to get a little more blood out. /rant off |

I would not doubt that SOE will manipulate the chances of getting a rare item from the booster packs. Higher chances of getting something from the packs that you buy. |
