Age of Conan

I've been watching the game lately. I see all the hate. I know Funcom lied. But is the game REALLY as bad as they say? I was looking at the new videos explaining the incoming revamped dungeons (and new ones), the new zone, and the cool gang war fighting place. I just want to know what is really so terrible about the game.

It is not finished and will never be, you have a ceo dumping stock and another dev talking about an expansion as well as consultiing on a new Conan movie. Folks are alittle upset.

You could do ALOT worse in this genre like 90% of them are way worse than AOC. It's just people who love to join the hate train but as soon as WAR is released then I'm sure they'll find something to hate on WAR and say how its shutting down. I would love to say there are better mmorpgs than AOC but myself I think they all suck right now and AOC is defo in the pile of the best out atm.

Not finished? I managed to play from 1-80 no probs, lots have.

Dumping stock, is this not what happens to every game after a few months of lauch, it looks like people are finding every shread of what they think is negatove and blowing it out of proportion.

Expansion is due second half of next year...and you point is? Games not supposed to have expansions of something!!

A movie is a good thing right?

It's riddled with fundamental flaws and poor core mechanics. Perhaps the largest beeing a PVP centric game that is so heavily instanced.

He dont know he just jumped on the hate wagon.

There are quite few issues .. some of the annoying ones:
- Client stability
- Some gaps while questing
- Lack of meanigful end game content.

Hey, why don't you purchase the game, play to level 80 and come back here and tell us?

Guess you didnt play past 30ish, rarely had several instances of same zone once initial flood of players spread out a bit. Would you realy want 1000+ people in the same area!!!

DX10, fixes for current bugs and partial seiging, patches add more bugs, you can not make a post that is not positive on there forums with out getting banned. This is just a partial list not all but a sample along with the new mmo there working on xbox 360 aoc. There hype continues along with announceing new expansion and consulting on new Conan movie. Hope this help ya
