I just pre-ordered from Direct2Drive, i just wanted to get into the open beta to see how the game was, and if i liked it i would buy the game, but if not i would have the option of cancelling. I am lookin on my account on there site but do not see the option to cancel the order before it ships out, anyone have any info?

The doctors say his chances are 50/50...but there''s only a 10% chance of that.

I would hope you couldn't cancel after being able to play the beta.  Being in that beta is a reward for getting the game, not a "oh let's screw them over by faking a purchase to get into beta" deal.  Have fun with your new game!

Yep you'll get to try out the game, in all its full released glory as well.  And then you can cancel your subscription to it.

I dont think you can cancel with D2D. Most pleople are pre-ordering from places like amazon, gamestop ect if they plan on canceling since your not charged till after it ships anyway.

As far as I know you can cancel your pre-order with D2D by sending an email to customer service, they don't necessarily make it easy but then again most of the games that they sell aren't exactly things that you can return an unopened box for :)  Send 'em an email, before the launch date, and you should be fine.  However they probably won't let you if you hold off until the start of the headstart program.

so, come september 7th, play for a few days, and if i dont like it, just send them and email before the head start happens i think on the 16th of september, thx will keep that in mind, i am sure i will love Warhammer, but I kinda want to keep my options open, after the waist of money and experience i had with AoC.
