Are there player mounts in the game ?

Is there housing in the game ?

1.) Yes

2.) Yes

3.) Yes

Okay, to 1.

Mounts are called Mektoubs and can be bought for "Dappers" at the stables.

to 2.

Housing is "instanced" and atm you´re not able to invite friends, hopefully this will change someday.

to 3.

Any race can be either be Karavan aligned, Kami associated, or completely neutral. And you´re able to switch faction if you like to.

As a neutral the only drawback is that you don´t get access to faction owned teleporters in highlevel areas, which is not that bad, for once you´ve reached that level you can walk there without a problem and have a bit of fun on the way

MMORPGs are a business like a dairy-farm. You try to get out the maximum of milk with a minimum amount of moo. It seems all we get these days is moo.

Ryzom, we dare to be different.
Do you dare to adapt?

at the moment it's free to play. Although we don't know what the new owners are planning. Could be they want the game to be free to play all the time, could be there will be subscriptions later on. At the moment they really communicate about future plans.

multiple kinds of pvp:

1) guild versus guild: there are player owned outposts over which guilds can (and do) fight.

2) faction vs faction: there are 2 factions ingame, the Kami and the Karavan, if you get enough fame for them (by doing some missions) you can engage in a rite of passage and become a supporter of either one. Once you are, you get the ability to turn on your factional pvp tag, which enables you to fight people of the other faction (with their tag enabled) anywhere in the game.

3) free for all pvp: some Areas in the Prime Roots and on Nexus are free for all pvp, be careful there . Those places are also where the best materials in the game are to be found.

4) single player versus player: You can challenge anyone, anywhere, to a duel, and hope they accept. (don't spam duel invites, there actually is support in this game and harassing other players is a good way to get a ticket sent in about you.)

Now in the end, the guild vs guild pvp mostly ends up being faction vs faction as well, since guilds can also be kami or karavan aligned, and make alliances amongst one another (the Karavan Alliance is a force to be reckoned with).

All in all there's more than enough pvp options, but you won't get killed by random bored veterans as soon as u step out of town.
