"Inanimate objects must pay for their insolence"

With WAR so near to release, I am wondering what game will be the next big argument on MMORPG.com? My guess is we will just see more endless arguing over wether or not the Darkfall Dev's will ever actually release their game but let's try not to turn this into another Darkflame topic. I personally am going to be following WAR40k's development but it is in it's infancy at the moment. Anything else on the horizon that looks fun?

There are plenty of games still coming:

Citadel of Sorcery - my favorite

Fallen Earth

The Chronicles of Spellborn

APB

Huxley (possibility)

Earthrise

Stargate Worlds

Force of Arms

edit:  Forgot Aion

Patience is all we need

Fallen earth, spellborn?

Darkfall if released will make a huge impact that will shake the mmo foundation, if its bug free stable server, have enough content and lift up to expectations with freedom and complexity.

I guess I am wondering which game will really spike the hype meter next. I mean we had Vanguad then Age of Nipples, then WAR... but when I look at the list of upcoming games I don't see a game that I suspect will generate that kind of interest. Other than the Darkflame war, but that looks like it has degenerated into mostly name-calling at this point.

I'm almost sure that that will be Aion. Unique Sieges, Game already done and Beta Testers from Korea are very proud on the game in the state now. But Game comes out around 2009 Januari because NCSoft want to be sure about the Game before releasing. The Game has also much perspectives of all West and Asian MMO's. This will be the most complete game for this coming years. btw: I'm a Web and Game Designer and have my own Aion Legion at: aionimprovisation.com

orginal Site of Aion: aiononline.com

Cheers,
Dawn

Google "MMORPGMaker" if you want to make your own MMORPG.

I predict nothing. Darkfall is vaporware. You can't just love Darkfall because you can take over territory. How? What are the game mechanics? Are there keeps to capture, is it like the Corporations in EVE, like DAoC, what? You still don't know after 7 years, but you know it will be good? That makes no sense. All the Darkfall supporters just repeat marketing fluff over and over. It will be innovative, groundbreaking, immersive, give freedom to players, complexity,  bla bla bla. Those aren't game mechanics.

Aion? I see some nice screen shots, but nothing about the game play really grabs me.

I think we've seen the end of the Dev cycle for 2008 for major AAA titles after the release of WAR.
