WAR (Warhammer Online)

After talking to some of my guild everyone has decided to play Order. Well I was basing everything on the fact that we would go chosen as the leadership all wanted Chosen, but alas we did a vote and Order won.

Anyhow I had to rethink what classes I was going to play. I tried out some of the Order classes during the CB and PW, I found the Warrior Priest to be my favorite. Mainly for the lore behind them( I like the idea of rallying the troops and getting everyone hyped for battle, even though that will never actually happen in a game hehe. As well as fighting with righteous ferver and divine power) and the overall look of the class.

Anyhow I suppose I am hanging up my mutated arm of the Maruader and hulking black armor of the Chosen and putting on a nice little robe and a breastplate, and picking up my Hammer to lay vengeance upon the hordes of destruction!

Ill prolly change my class 10 times in OB.

I played almost every class in the CE CB and PW. I got them all to at least 5 and most of them to 10ish. Most of the classes dont grab me in this game for several reasons. For one I havent played an Elf since EQ and I dont plan to do so in the near future, I also completely detest dwarves. I am pretty much left with a single race option for Order. Hopefully when/if the KotBS gets put back in I will play him as the Empire is pretty much known for their heavy knights.

Nice vid of a Warrior Priest vs. Chosen duel, lasted for about 2 minutes, the WP almost died but pulled off a quick heal and in the end won because of the heal. So, good choice

yea. classes in this game are boring.  I can't find 1 that i like. I feel i'll be leaving after 1st month because of that.

While I do agree the classes are pretty boring, but the highest I got was 16 with my Chosen and I honestly loved the hell outta playing him. During the PW I couldnt really get behind one class and devote time because I knew it was well... one weekend and no reason to make me repeat content when I actually go to play the game. Most likely I will play the OB just to be there with my guild but I am not going to put alot of effort into it.

Now when the headstart begins...well, I have 3 days scheduled off work.

Heh, racism toward imaginary characters in a video game? Such a waste. IMO you are just dumbing down the experience for yourself and killing off some potential for fun by cutting out so many of the classes from your list of options.

Its obviously up to you but.. I think you gotta loosen up man  But what can I expect out of a former destruction player

Probably a good move man, a whole guild of Chosen would suck.

Plenty of classes to pick and choose from. I am sure I will be playing many types of classes to learn each style of gameplay.

Let me rephrase that I dont hate dwarf players. I just cannot play one as I do not like the way they look, same pretty much goes for elves. They are too pretty, I dont get that gritty feel behind them and I dont find them particularly fun to roleplay either. I dont do it all the time but when I do I like to really get into my character and the only order race I feel that I can get into is the Empire. Also I have been wanting to play as a Chosen or Marauder for over a year now. If I felt like it I could probably go find links to my posts about it over a WarhammerAlliance.
