Why not try? I mean, we have figured so much out in the past years. There's no limit to what we human beings can accomplish and understand. |

These threads make me laugh.
How sure atheists are that they are right, while simultaneously providing the answer of "we don't know the answer" and then getting all bent out of shape when somebody proposes the preposteous notion that once you go back far enough into the existence of time, space, and matter, that the need for some sort of higher being not tied to the laws of physics arises.
A lack of a belief in any sort of higher power will always be chalked up to foolishness and arrogance in my book...It always has been, even before I was a Christian...I found the notion that there was no higher power to be absurd simply from a logical standpoint...Scientifically, logically, commonsensically. |

| There's something kinda sad about the way that things have come to be, desensitized to everything, what became of subtlety? |

Well that sounds pretty emotional. I don't understand why it's so arrogant to have different intuition than others. To me the notion of a "higher being" just screams oversimplification, but eh... The biggest objection I have is in your claim that it's a "logical" standpoint, when logic is purely a language with conventions and manipulations of statements through rules, NOT intuition. Scientifically doesn't make sense either, since it's still a subjective claim. Although hypothesis testing is often used, it is still in all reality a convention and until a testable theory is created for creationism it's still a bunch of hogwash (not saying strong atheism isn't either...).
