Ryzom was not built with jumping in mind. It's one of those things that might seem odd at first but you soon get caught up and don't miss it any more. So, don't let it bother you. Just give it some time. |

Though it may feel like being unable to jump limits your freedom of movement, your freedom in other, much more meaningful ways is far less limited than in other MMOs. |

From what I understand, never, ever ask that question in game in the world chat. Sure way to get flamed and insulted. (one of the most over used complaints that the vets have heard for years) Back when Ryzom was coded, several games like L2, GW's also did not include jumping. Just a design choice that isn't likely to ever change.

Because you spend so much time on the ground foraging, fighting and just trying find your way safely around the place that there is no time for jumping just time for exploring, surviving and having a bloody great time. :) |

I just don't even think about jumping in this game, I don't feel the need to. Jumped around like a clown in other MMO's though hehe |

I suspect that PvP wise it is really nice that there are no bunny hopping players. Then again jumping could be limited by a fatigue or some similar mechanics. It is odd when you have to walk around bumps that seem to have only a few feet of height. |
