I keep it simple.

From what I haer, if im correct is has all out pvp, all out looting, all out do what ever u want.

Fromt he trailers it looks like best MMO ever....

Even if the graphics looked worse than an Amstrad I would not care, as long as gameplay is there. Think some people need to swuitch on. All i hear is people moan about graphics, serisouly.. I rather have something looking like dog poo and play and be mega fun!

Than have a game feel ike a tech demo for graphics ala AoC.

If Darkfall really does do and ahve all it says, I am gonna signu p and be a life time member... AoC has pissed me off enough with flare graphics but nothign there... like a emopty box.

and yes if you are someone who is into pvp and seeks real pvp rewards and consequences, and not just another disguised grind for better gear, and you like sandboxes, this is the game for you right now.  It truly stands alone with what is on the market right now and a lot of people are excited about it.  even the naysayers have it on their radar and you better believe they will be looking at it if it releases well and the reviews are good.

And no, it's not everything we ever wanted. Some people actually like carebear PvE based grindfests like WoW

But you and me don't so it certainly is everything we ever wanted.

MMOs will never be all that we want them to be but if you're a fan of sandbox games and titles like UO or SWG then this game is probably for you.

Not bad will give it a shot.

all this talk about graphics is silly, for what was shown on the video... in an mmo environment, the graphics are amazing!

anyway, ive been following it for years.. and everything they said was shown with flying colors recently.. its going to be amazing

I am excited for Darkfall.  I was a little dissapointed with the polygons in the water and the interaction between the characters footfalls and the ground but that was basically about it.  The overall video was amazing.  The graphics can be tweaked prior to release.  Even if it isn't it will still look a million times btter than WoW.  And as long as the game play is at least what they have stated it will hands down be the game for many hard core players that are looking for a truly PvP game to bring back an amazing gaming experience.

There will of course never be on game to rule them all...but there will certainly be ones that stand out over others.

People will enjoy WoW and WAR etc because they like the simple, hand-held, linear gameplay.  And if you think im insulting the games by describing them that way, you are way off.  It is entertainment people.  You have to understand that everyone has different needs and desires from a MMO.  DF will be a game for those of us who are just blown away by its features list, while you see others in this forum bashing it because they cant understand why we would want to have a full loot pvp game.

I can't wait.

So what scares me is release date, its gotta be soon! Not sure i can hold on long for this one.

I have a lot of confidence that once we start getting reports from beta we will all fully believe that Darkfall is going to deliver what we want in an MMO.
