the client will patch then goto a black screen for a second then go straight to my desktop. Anyone else having that same problem?

did the exact same thing to me just now.

im hoping that it is because they servers are down while they setup for tommorrow?

nope.

do a fill file check when you are on the login screen part.



edit:  this did happen to me with the preview weekend but once the serevrs went live i was fine.

i think most people are getting that but to be safe just do a full check.. I had a similar issue when i first installed way back for CB, a full check did fix it tho. Can't hurt to try anyways.

it's happening to everyone after the patch a seccond time. i am sure its intentional. they just put a CTD in the EXE, that way people cant hammer the servers while they are prepping them.

I did a full check and reinstalled still doing it.

we already tried that. patch a second time and you will get the error to.

ride the spiral to the end it may just go where no ones been

i had this problem to, even after full file check.

but then after trying to launch it again & again (with out full file check cos i already done it) it patched a small file & worked. it could be because so many ppl are patching at the same time or somin

Was having this problem. Another patch came down and all is well but no servers available yet obviously.
