Got the Beta key registered yesterday but can not log into the game. Mythic Patcher screen comes up and "Authentication Failed" appears when I put in the PW. But the Name and Password work perfectly fine on the Account page. Anyone else have this happening and does anyone have a link to Customer Support ? Or a phone number?

You can confirm that on the features section of the accuont it says OPEN BETA? You have to register the key twice. Once for the account and once for the beta. |

You may want to just check. The master account and the actual game account can have different passwords and usernames if I remember correctly. |

I have seen a few people with this problem also. Go into your game folder and instead of running the "Warhammer" application, or the other exe's, run "Warpatch" Use that as your startup rather than the others. See if that helps. :) |

On the Account page it says:
General (tab) *Status: Active *Created: 9/9/2008
On the Features (tab): *Head Start *Game Stop Pre-order
When I try to put in the Beta code again, it says, "That code has already been used". By what I've shown you above on my Acct. page- am I registered correctly for the Beta or not? |

I don't believe you are. I have listed: *Open Beta Provides access to the Open Beta I still had issues with all these for a while because it was using my master account login but my beta center password to get into the game. Took me a while to figure that one out!

Did you try going into your game folde and running the "Warpatch" application, instead of warhammer? What happens when you do that instead? If an error still persist, what error?

Ok..lets keep this simple. You should have entered 2 codes. 1 is for your pre order (head start) and the other is for the BETA. If you do not have a code entered for BETA, you will get that error. Anyway, I know you anxious, but your really not missing much. |

It looks like my Beta code is invalid. I keep getting the message " This Beta key has already been used". So, either a Gamestop employee hacked my numbers or Mythic messed up on the codes and did some duplicates:( I don't know- the box was sealed when I bought it but the seal was just a oval piece of clear tape. I suppose it could have been lifted up and resealed:( |
