darkfall is alive...tasos responed on the official forums and said theres gonna be a interview about the game coming out by mmorp.com pretty soon and there gonna do a update after they finish some stuff...so hopefully they will be announcing beta!

good they really should consider releasing this game because it really offers something we have never seen before. im sure this game will beat the crap out of wow and guild wars. games like that are just lame...you rather play an offline free rpg.

Too late. I've rejoined EVE Online after a 20 month absence. The ironic thing is that reading the Darkfall FAQ and posts, as well as a number of threads in the 'General Discussion' section, forced me to rethink my criteria for a MMOG. Darkfall was on my list because I demanded player freedom in making choices how they wish to play the game, rather than being forced down an avenue - PVP is a mechanism to achieve this, but is just one aspect. Thank you Darkfall for helping me renew my love with EVE Online. I just hope that the game is released and lives up to expectations because if yet another MMOG folds that allows player freedom, then this business model could cease to exist. Regards, |

A Danish online magazine proclaimed Darkfall to be vaporware, apparently the Darkfall Devs sent them a letter, and a new article came out saying Darkfall is Alive!! It has been said by Claus that a major beta announcement will be made shortly (yes he has said this before, but we can only hope) The issue of money has come up many times on the forums, and always responded that money isnt a problem with the Devs, and the game WILL be finished. I still hold hope for this game. |

This game has been labeled vapor for so long, I just think it's funny to look at a few old threads. |

I dont know but i think if this game ever releases it will be sadly outdated.
