Seriously i was happy enough to leave advertisements on as i wasn't too bothered (which suprised me) but as soon as a blocker is released for crome ill be using it.

I realise advertisments = revenue.... but invasive advertisments like this just get people irrated, and give ad blocking software another user. And it doesn't do the game any favors either.

 

 

Just turn off the speakers if it bothers you that much.

I just spam the REFRESH button until that free mmo ad pops up, fiesta or whatever... that ad is nice and quiet...

Say what you say but you can't deny that the marketing did it's job.

Refreshing the page does work yea, but dosnt that just show how invasive the dam thing is.

You seems to be a bit like Paris Hilton to me.

Get rid of it! Like others have said this ad alone will stop me coming here. Its so freaking annoying. I like to open up a load of threads in alternate tabs and to have that bloody ad booming out about 5 different times all at once is insanely annoying.

Agree - that bloody ad sucks.  I come here for a little late night browsing after playing and usually don't bother turning sound off or down.  The advert made me jump out of my bloody skin!

Also - I use Firefox 3 and the latest NoScript and yet this ad is blocked on some pages but running on others and I can't figure out why.  Take a 4 page thread - I will get the NoScript icon on pages 1 and 4 but on 2 and 3 it can run.

Fooked up.

Bin the ad please.
