I'm with you.  Any interest I had in this game is gone because of general douche bag vibe I get from the community.  AOC fans/fourms were bad enough.  I hope DF succeeds then all these people can be in the same game together and those of us who aren't anti-social psychos can play our games in peace.

BTW, I gave DF a 1 on the hype meter and all the others a 10.

 

I agree too. Some guy here was hoping for my death. In an indirecte way, but just reading him mentioning I could die because I was so stupid, just because I made a joke about the probabilities of a certain feature being present in this stupid game, was very impressive. Really sick people here.

And the DF official forums are no better. I have seen people telling someone to stick "broken glass..." I will spare you the details.

Agreed, plain and simple, some people buy into the hype, the smart ones don't.

Fact that you are keeping track and keep posting means the Hype Meter has done it's job. Looking forward to seeing a lot of trolls and other children who badmouth the game play and enjoy a game that's trying to break the monotonous MMO mold.

Hype is hype, good or bad it's bringing attention to the game. The game will speak for itself in the end and will bring haters and fanboi's together in the end. If you can't beat em join em! See you all in Darfall!

 Hypemeter = more people visiting the Darkfall forums = more people posting in the forums = this thread appearing more often on the recent activity section.  Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out, although it probably does require a bit of logical thinking at around the elementary school level.
