Today I have crashed probably 5-6 times and each time had a queue. Sometimes it was 1hr+ and sometimes 30mins or less. That being said I would rather have high populated realms then Ghost towns. This is something that Blizzard never learned. Putting out to many servers without allowing some to fill up causes some to become severely underpopulated. So far the servers seem very populated and this is only 1/3 of the cap. I havn't had any issues finding groups, getting queues to pop for scenarios, or finding open world RvR. So I give Mythic an A++ for their launch of servers. That is coming from someone that waiting literally hours in queue. |

Alot of MMO's have their servers programmed to let you back into the game without a que if you were in the game within the last 10 minutes. It's incase of things like, needing to reboot, crashes, kicks, accidental exits, etc etc. Hopefully they get that feature implemented soon as most all of the people upset here seem to be more pissed about having to get back into the que again than they are about the initial wait or the untimely crash. However, to be fair, duuuuuuurr.. welcome to Launch DAY of a mmo, wth did you think was going to happen? If any of you have the slightest inkling of how complicated a process launching an mmo can actually be, please, stand up and feel free to complain. Also, these comments of "I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt the first week"... so ummmm, why are you posting such inflammatory and pissed off threads on the boards right NOW, and not a week from now? |

Head starts are a little bonus for pre-orders, but the main purpose for the company is to ramp in customers, rather than have everyone coming in on launch day. You know there will be crashes, full servers, queues, etc... If you are in a guild or 100% stuck on a particular server, you grin and bear it. If not, look for a server and faction combo with no queue. Help balance the populations and spend your day playing, rather than sitting in a queue. The good news is that the server caps will be increased steadily as the leveling curve spreads out. The bad news is that there will be a lot of SE and retail customers looking to join friends and guilds on those same servers. CE servers are likely to be crowded for some time. Once again, people will need to weigh their reasons for staying there vs. starting on a less crowded server. Just remind yourself that it could be worse: You could be one of those chumps that paid hundreds of dollars on Ebay this week for a CE slot. :) |

It boggles the mind when almost everyone was going on skull server. There were plenty of servers without queues yet guilds just had to go there . Two servers had queues for destruction. Not Myhtics fault a guild picked that server. I got in just fine on a low pop erver.

I want to give props to Mythic and GoA for a very nice headstart launch, yes there are queues on various servers, but almost exclusively for Destrucion side, my friend wanted to play Destro too, but we agreed we should start with Order now, because we don't want queues. So either roll Order, have queues or find a lesser populated destruction server ( yes they are there ). It is 100% your own fault for rolling on overpop realms. Mythic and GoA did great strategical planning and did what was needed for server health. Edit : I had 0 crashes, seen 0 bugs and had 0 queues so far in headstart.

I was in as soon as the server opened today, through the first 5 hours or so on destruction side. I didn't have a single problem or crash. (And I am running a POS computer.) Granted, I had some horrendous lag at times..but my pc comes in at the low, low end of the requirements, and I had my guild website, voice chat and another site open at the same time. One of my guildies did have a 20 minute wait about 3 hours in because he got a late start though. All in all, I can honestly say there has been nothing wrong with this launch, they are forcing overflow to less populated servers. Good for Mythic. It will help to avoid the horrible start that WoW had in the long run. Plus they have already said once the game is in full swing there will be free transfers to other servers if they are needed. No big deal. |

Why you bums go on about the HORRIBLE waiting? You can be anywhere in the world while standing in line for Scenarios. Anywhere! Go RvR while waiting :P |
