I created an account with the preorder codes of a CE,so i played in open beta and now on head start..I am planning to buy the SE ,so my question is...will i be able to retain my character i ve created with the head start code of the CE? |

well now, logically speaking, have you entered a code to take you from beta to live? if not, then just whack in the code you get with your normal edition, should be fine.
however i do now think you may be a bit of a blunt for ordering something which you had no intention of buying, why cant you just use the code from CE? The code itself is no different now that all keys are being accepted. Unless ordered just for beta, which indeed, makes you a fetid axe wound |

I am doing the same thing. There is no way they will reject you adding any retail account to a beta account. Should be just fine. |

im not sure but i think that i ve read somewhere that characters will be deleted if you have used a head start ce code,and then a se code to register the game |

I think it will work, and for sure no characters will get deleted. The only thing you will miss are the ingame ( and out of the game ) bonusses you get from the CE. Like the different heads and stuff.

my guess is since you have a code for every single different bonus that the CE edition offers. the game key is just the same format as the SE game key, so what makes it CE is the whole pack of keys. I really doubt they will be tracking if you bought the CE or not and delete your items, you bought the pre-order pack with the bonus items end of story. |
