Yep, the PVP battles in this game speak for themselves so far. People will go at it for hours and havr fun because it's accessible, and not ultimately a waste of time like the old generation of MMOs that became extinct (for a good reason)

Why do I need to be penalised for dying

This is RVR where I will die hundreds of times get up and go at it back again

We where in RVR yesterday tryingto take over a hold .Now if there was looting not that many people would not join Morover after dying people will be more concerned with what they lost and not with what running back to the hold ground

Times have changed .My time invested is money which I am paying , I do not expect to pay money and then lose stuff over and over again.
There will be few hardcore PVP vets ageing out but its time for the oldies to move on .Its more about casual play , quick immersionand quick fun,
This is the 1st time in last 10 years that from hard core PVE I have channeled out to RVR .Last 2 days I have not been looking at quest only doing PQs ,scenarios and RVR and having loads of fun.
Kudos to Mythic for pulling it off and converting PVE base to RVR base. We dont want any looting crap around here .

I want that the next time I die the only thing in my mind is that I run back to the battle and kick the ass out of EMPIRE

Maybe you guys can petition and ask for a full looting server

getting death penalty  while doing world rvr in rvr zone.. is annoying enough.. i just hope it is bug. .or to pvp you will have to grind money too..

Nothing more stupid than having heavy death penalties in a game built to put you into situations where you can't have reliable control over whether you will die or  not.

ummm what would the point of looting a players corpse in this game? seeing how everything is race/class specific so you take my stuff not because you can wear it but just to be a prick? not everyone plays a game to try and make the other peoples game shitty,rvr is fun for both win or lose its fun to me. i'm not one of those hard core semi rpers that don't really rp but take things a bit far and HATE the other side, because face it if they wasn't there i wouldn't have anyone to kill..lol

a game that will be released soon and that we have seen almost nothing of? all we got a is a video showing poorly character animations and a very very bad outaged graphics...

thanks but no, I rather stick with lord of the rings online for now, until blizzard releases the next big hit..

Im sorry to tell you guys, be as we have learned from the past, every mmo released has failed except blizzards mmos..

even pre-cu star wars galaxies has failed which was actually a good game..

so we have to wait for blizzard, thats all I can say, everything else will fail poorly :)

No you are wrong Blizzard and wow is not the only thing out there

Guild Wars with its no monthly fee + 6 monthly campaings/expansions model was very successful with 5 million copies sold.They do have a niche market and they will do the same for GW2.

EQ2 , EVE & LOTRO are too finiancial success and have a good base..
