Lol! What's with the hair-trigger attitude, pal? WoW was 10 times worse than WAR (with the issues and bugs) when it was released. People need to chill out. |

I feel bad for your situation but I am kind of surprised. I've never had any issues with a MMO launch before. It's been nothing but smooth just like every other launch I've played in. The only time I ever had issues was waiting in queue during WoW and even then I just switched to a lighter server and never had that problem again. |

Seriously this is a user error, and not a problem on Mythic's side of things. You are like a guy buying a skateboard, trying to use it upside down, then returning it because it stood still. Just playing. =D Seriously though, check out www.warhammeralliance.com for technical information on their forums. |

Actually WoW's Launch was smooth, the issues didn't come until a couple weeks later and that was only becuase a Bajillion people were trying to log in all at once and Blizzard couldn't open servers fast enough. The initial infastructure was designed to hold about 300k people and about 700k people purchased the game that week, it got so bad that they had to stop selling the game for about a month. http://www.igniq.com/2005/01/penny-arcade-revokes-warcraft-goty.html But Blizzard haters like to rewrite history and say that it was the launch that was Fubar, and that just isn't so.

I don't know if we experienced the same launch, and I am in know way a Blizzard hater. I am anticipating Diablo 3 as much as any Blizzard fanboy, but that doesn't mean I don't dislike the direction they took WoW especially in the PvP department. Anyway, my experience in WoW went roughly like this: Create Char at launch, level to 11, get stuck looting, not knowing better I disconnected and ended up waiting 20 or so minutes to get back in, immediately get stuck looting, queue went up to 30+ minutes this time, deleted character and moved to a less populated server. Created new char at less popular server, level to 7, get stuck looting, disconnect, reconnect, level some more, server reset with rollback, log back in, get stuck looting, threw keyboard in frustration, went to bed. Next day went to log in, 30+ minute queue on new server, finally got in and got stuck looting within 5 minutes. This was my first week of WoW and it only got more frustrating as the new users poured in. The first month of WoW was a disaster for tens of thousands of people even if it didn't hit you. |

Just change your password for your WAR account. That happend to me during OB and PW. Change it (they say you can do it to your current pass, but that didn't work), to something different. Then change it right back. Should fix your problem. Also, chill out. It's a new game. |
