there's runescape although a lot of people don't like it because of the graphics, and also I don't think SWG is considered a sandbox anymore.

i tried Runescape cause a friend I know has been playing it for like 3 years. I really surprised me cause from screenshots it don't look like much cause of the graphics but actually there is a pretty good game here and the population was staggering I saw people running around like ants. 135 million accounts

Shadowbane. There are an insane amount of ways to make a character. And guilds build their own cities and siege and destroy other guilds cities. This creates a lot of politics

SWG Publish 4 Jedi:Flurry: TKM unlock

planetside can be classified as sandbox, its similar to SWG in that it has multiple planets but they are all seamless worlds. In planetside since the players run it in choosing how to wage war, its basically a strategic sandbox war.

A lost gamer looking for the MMO of his dreams.

Horizons is halfway sandbox.  It does have some linear gameplay, but you can kind of be what you want to be given enough time.

A Tale in the Desert is also sandbox.  But I'm not really sure the status on that game, so I'd say check it out.

Otherwise, not really.  Sadly there aren't many sandbox fans I guess, or just isn't a big enough market.
