Hell I am playing a human in real life and its really the only acceptable thing to play. Anyway to the OP I understand that not everyone wants to lose all the time. If you still have any patience for the game I would reccomend 1 more shot at a server but before you do read the server forums on Warhammer alliance website and find one that looks to be more even. I have played on 2 seperate servers Skull throne and iron Rock and both are even it seems. Also as said previously being part of an organized RVR group will make a world of difference for you as well as we can easily take 3-1 if the Desto isnt organized. |

Depends on what your goals are friend. if you want to take the enemys keep then you may have a problem. But if your just playing for the enjoyment of pvping then maybe get a small skirmish band together and run through the rvr area's ambushing. Thats what me and a few friends are doing and it gives us a real buzz. There is 5 of us ambushing the tail ends of warbands killing a few destruction fast then retreating to regroup.....it's such a buzz to see them turn around as two of thier comrades fall and they wander why and start chasing shadows. OP do you just pvp btw? because there is also pve to do inbetween untill you come across even numbers :). |

I've really got to say I dislike this line of thinking. A game should be fun from level 1, not 20-30 levels of frustration just to get to the lands of milk and honey. Someone posted a quip that I thought was really funny and at the same time very accurate. "So I should eat shit for 20 levels just to get to the cookie?"
There has been a lot of flawed logic posted here about population imbalances. Someone wrote that order is somehow smarter than destruction and just needs to get organized to win. As if destruction players can't simply do the same if the population advantage is somehow nuetralized by organization. Someone else said destruction is more popular, because everyone chose horde in WoW. When horde was actually at population disadvantage. Interestingly enough many horde players site the population imbalance as a reason for the downfall of world PvP. As soon as word spread about a good fight going on, the alliance would overwhelm the horde with sheer numbers. Not as a tactic, but because people wanted to PvP.
Edit: I forgot to say I don't necessarily agree with what the original poster stated as my world RvR experience has been balanced so far, but limited in experience. I think there is plenty of fun at T1/T2 and is enough to get a good feel for the game. Maybe things get better/worse later on I don't know, but there is enough to keep yourself busy. The one thing I did notice is the lack of order players in the T1 area. The public quests are dead and people few and far between. Scenarios had short que times, but I think that is because it was mostly the same group of people playing them.

Originally posted by Stridar Wrong, i've met more older and more mature people on this game then any other mmo i've played. WOW Is much more dumbed down then war is. warhammer is more about structure, people working together to accomplish bigger things, the people that don't see this, such as the OP, are the ones that are leaving and complaining about their sides losing to much. join a group, lead a group, join a guild....organize something, make a structure, stop playing it like the scenarios are some fps quake type game, Instead play it organized and structured with a guild, with working together with other people and you'll see your side start winning more and more. 100% agree with this post. YOU not the person next to you need to take the initiative to do things and get them done. Its like that in this game and its like that in real life. Sit back and let everyone else do it, then you are just like everyone else. Thats why I rolled a tank. Swordmaster, i run in first while everyone pussy foots around, and usualy am the reason theres a push in the destruction forces. Takes some initiative, talk a little, and get people to help out. Not very hard. I play on Avhenim or w/ever its called.

No EA owns Mythic. NCSoft pbulished Auto Assault, Net Devil was the developer. They are separate. NetDevil is now making JumpGate Evolutiuon with Codemasters as the publisher. EA owns mythic in full and is pbulishing the game. They are not separate. And in fact are adding promotional items into WAR to promote other games like Red Alert 3.
However the EAStore is not likely to have anything different than other game shops and is not a great store in general.
I did get my CD key for a direct download from EA store basically instantly. But I purposely did not do the pre-order through them. |

why does anyone that decides to quit a game think everyone else should know? normally only some one trying to stir crap up make these sort of post, letting the world know that they quit so and so new game.
alot of ppl in star wars galaxies forums said the same thing..go give them a visit and see how they beg for anyone to log in so their 14 bucks a month isnt totally wasted as they sit outside of instances or in the restuss pvp areas praying to be attacked. The more ppl that quit a MMO affects you directly..word of mouth is a powerful tool that makes or breaks any MMO. |

no, swg broke swg. people quit every day and post about it in wow forums also. wow hasn't completely reworked their game numerous times like swg has had done. that is why people quit that game in droves several different times during it's short lifespan. |
