I usually as a rule don't,but for the hell of it a rolled a witch elf on warhammer....and she looks friggin hot. |

I play both male and female characters in games. The way I look at it is a MMO character is not an extension of myself but more like me roleplaying a completely different person. Whenever I get the urge to play myself I just go outside and do stuff in the real world. I play games to escape being myself for a little while and sometimes that includes female characters. Now I'm not one of these guys that tries to fool other guys though. If asked I will tell them I'm really a guy as I don't need any boyfriends.

I only did it once with a human priest in WoW as it just seemed to fit the character and i must say that i did get a whole different reaction from 'male' characters. I think that a lot of players have a problem detaching the gender of the on screen character from the guy/gal that is actually sitting at the keyboard ;-) |

I've done both. In WoW, at least, the female avatars are mucyh easier on the eyes to watch on your screen constantly. |

probably easier to get in a group too
I just do it because sometimes it's nice to see how the other side lives once in a while.
