Just a question I am looking forward to the answer to. I enjoy crafting and miss a MMORPG that is heavy with crafting. Just back into the mood for crafting. Minadin |

Atlantica Online is very friendly to crafters, as majority of the equipment are crafted by players. It's also pretty unique because it's turn-based MMORPG with a historic setting. You can control up to 8 mercenaries in addition to your main hero and can change tactics depending on the circumstances. I played closed beta so I can definitely recommend this game. Open beta is starting so maybe you can check it out. |

Happiness lies to those who cry. |
if you dont mind 2d isometric, cutesy/cartoony graphics, luminary/goonzu online might be to your liking. you can almost make everything in the game, from pots, armors, weapons, food, tools, etc. and its free to play. |

Another DF hype here. In Darkfall, nearly every item is craftable. With full loot and durability loss on items, combined with single character per server (it won't be like WoW where people can just make stuff for themselves), people will constantly be in need of crafters. Player driven economy ftw. Well, once the game comes out... |

EQ2 or Vanguard. In EQ2 you level up your crafting separate of your level and a lvl 1 toon can be a lvl 70 crafter (but it's a bit demanding since you have to buy or trade materials). You also have to counter certain things while you crafting to make it a top notch item. In Vanguard you can build most of anything. |
