no need to call names

plenty of games around ...just sharing my enthusiasm

before you call me an idiot....think to yourself..did you like WAR more than WOW even from before it was released?

If Darkfall came out with half the features they advertise in any kind of playable state I would be all over it.  That is way more my type of game than WoW or WAR.  I do like RvR in WAR and I imagine end game could be quite fun so I am pretty determined to spend a good bit of time in Tier 4 before deciding on whether or not I will play it for any substantial length of time.

It is cool to allow 2 weeks from launch.  Not say you will have 6 days then on the 2nd day say 'Actually we lied, grace period ends tomorrow morning.  If you don't have your game by then we'll see in you 3-4 days, and have fun stretching.  We realize that we are telling you this AFTER your game has already shipped with standard shipping and you won't receive it for another 3 or 4 days which is when we promised the grace period would last until but again, we lied have fun stretching.'

But anyway, if you enjoy playing a broken Sandbox game over a polished "ordinary MMORPG" I can't have any opinions of your decision

ROFL

there are plenty of cartoons and movies about people that keep calling Darkfall Vaporware

and whats wrong with promising lol...thats just common sense and advertising ....granted AOC failed to follow their promises but we found that out afterwards....how can ye say that DF wont hold up to their word?

and imo it wont be broken...but i am glad to hear that you ll play Darkfall aswell (if its not broken)

I've seen the gameplay movies of Darkfall. One long ago that looked awesome, ship battles and so on.

Then I saw the newer one... game looked incredibly stiff and slow... yes, so you can wave your weapons as you want, so far I've understood, and sandbox a whole lot too, but as far as I'm concerned it just doesn't look like it has any soul on top of that.

And I would probably not play Darkfall even if it comes out and has the cure for cancer. Because I'm fed up with "Hardcore - sandbox" games. They suck too much time out of me to even get to the fun parts... well, if you don't think all the preparing... gathering and waiting ARE the fun times that is. WAR to me is a game I can play one hour and do tons of stuff and be happy!

No, I take each game as a seperate entity. I like WAR the way it is. DDO was fine the way it was as well. I don't judge games the way most do on this site. If the game bores me or I don't like something about it, that's personal taste. As long as it's not buggy, I don't care. I'll take it or leave it, but I'm not going to take a dump on the game or the people that find enjoyment in it.
