It's been a week since the PVP patch finally launched.  The positives and the negatives of the patch are getting more visiable and questions are beeing asked on quite a few matters.

But now there are no answers from Funcom.  Acording to the famous "weekly" patch schedual - we should be seeing at least a hotfix patch coming to fix the broken PVE content that is now destroying the fun factor of the other half of AOC gamers... the raiders.

There have been numerious questions on the forums in the past few days and not alot of answers.  It seems like the new "user friendly" gaming director has all of a sudden dissapeared of the face of the ... Forums.

I have to say I did NOT expect anything different.  The problem is systemic in nature and until you drive them out of business by not paying to play, nothing will change.  Even if they have to go on FUMES and push the car, they will remain aloof and distant... This is the culture this coporation has cultivated. FUncom - putting the FU back in FUN since we were founded!

1. It's bi-weekly - meaning every two weeks. Been like this for some time now:

I'll be explaining in a little more depth the plans for short and medium terms very soon (actually working on the text at the moment) and that will cover a good portion of these kinds of questions so that everyone has a better understanding of what you will be see coming to the live servers.

Hey guys,

We are investigating the instances where events like these can happen with the customer support team and the developers. I can see many have already petitioned in on the subject to find some answers but we are looking into the reports at this stage before any more information can be released.

We are here reading the forums daily, and will be responding as and when it's appropriate with updates and comment.

So please keep the thread titles on subject and explanatory, its much more effective!

We will be talking a little further on the levels of difficulty and intentions for the raid content very shortly as it is. I have some feedback from the raid designers and am in the process of formulating it for forum consumption

Patch 3 is currently in the stages of internal testing. When we are happy with what we have in Patch 3 and feel it is good enough to go to Test Live, we will push it to Test Live. I won't spoil anything about Patch 3 though So you will have to wait and see when it comes and hits on to the Test Live servers.

Well - its not my fault that the gaming comuntiy is not allowed to read the test forums.

But Im pretty sure you are supporting the dircection that Funcom has taken in terms of preventing ppl for actually getting information about the game.  Other than "death has never looked so ..."

Funcom are still trying to hide the facts and hope ppl buy the game - instead of ACTUALLY delivering a good game in the first place.  If they are unable to do that then they should give ppl every opertunity to find out info about the game - anywhere - anytime.

*sigh* Have you heard about NDA for content in development?

And by the way what is your point, AoC has an exelent forum compared to some games that does not have an official forum at all.

Ever heard of WOTLK ?  You know ?  Content in Development that has no NDA and is allowing ppl to see whats going on?

Obviously Funcom has a reason to hide the work of  their incompitent devs.  Do they really think ppl wont know that by now ?

I've heard of it, I think it show they have no confidence in their product, just like they didn't with the game itself never droping the nda properly before launch. Turns out it was because while tortage was great the rest of the game was a huge let down and a collection of broken promises and missed opertunities.

Aoc what a waste of $50 mil

They are probably negotiating with the electric company to keep the server power on at this point. Falling subs and stocks that are flat lining and massive debt doesnt pay the bills very well. Wonder how will give them a loan this time??? lol

You mean the NDA that they never lifted to prevent potential customers from knowing the game a half finished piece of garbage that STILL doesnt have the features on the box? 4months after being released?
