Today the 25th of September Ultima Online turned 11 years old. There is no game like it and many have tried over the years. So lets see the milestones the game has set: Ultima Online's success resulted in Guinness World Records awarding the game 8 world records in the Guinness World Records: Gamer's Edition 2008. These records include "First MMORPG to Reach 100,000 Players", "Longest Running MMORPG". |

I remember the first time installing and logging into the game. I spawned in Vesper near the provisioner. The excitement, anxiety, confusion, it was great. I remember seeing another player in the game for the first time as well. I had just finished playing Diablo 2 and wasn't used to seeing more than 3-4 people on one screen. |
