WAR (Warhammer Online)

I'm pleased with my community. Everythings a bit quiet right now but thats because we're all overwhelmed with just figuring everything out ect. BUT, and this is what I'm most excited about:

I've been in about 4 or 5 parties so far... and every single time everyone was RP. This is very exciting to see imo and hopefully it keeps up. Greenskins (like myself) were talking it da way wot da git faces should. And this is not just in the guild but people i encounter along the way. I don't see people whining for help when everything is still confusing to most ect.. (you'd expect prime whinning time)

So over all the community I would have to say is two thumbs up on my servers which is an RP Server Avelorn. What does everyone else think? I think this could be the best community in a game since FFXI.

I am on the RP Server Huss, but I am not there because I wanted to rp, just to avoid meeting people with stupid names and matching personality .

So far I have had both groups that rp and some that don't. I usually try to do a minimum of rping when I realize that my groupmates play their charakters, and I have recognized that, in these cases those in the group that seem to not inted to rp at least stay silent. I have not had a single encounter of someone blatantly talking ooc in such a group.

And rping greenskins crack me up every time

 I'm on Avelorn also. Chaos, name of Kronn.

 I've set some macros up with taunts for the goodies out there. I've not had any problems in groups and this is the first time since the early days of SWG that I've actually enjoyed pvp. I never could get into it much with other games.

 I have to give kudos to the goodies though. I got had and ganked at one time. Some warrior priest came at us and then took off running. I, being Chaos, yelled insults straight from the mouth of Tzeentch and took off after him. Well, he led me along the beach and turned around and laughed at me.

 Then all his buddies came running out of hiding and proceeded to beat the snot out of me. Even though I got clobbered, it was fun.

I have played on several servers, on destruction and Order, and across the board they all seem mature and nice when grouping with other players. Most players are also helpful, in some cases group members dont talk...but then again the game is so easy to learn that most people already know their role and what their doing without any problems.

EDIT: (starting areas are a little quiet, however for the most part people talk when you talk to them.)

There was more socializing in open beta than when the game officially launched and I played on 2 servers so far.

Well that's too positive comments from people who play on Chaos on Avelorn server so if anyone is having problems, they should try there. :) But yeah I'm glad so far I haven't heard any "Noob, pwnd, you sux, help me," ect so I give the community 4 stars :) though I will agree it's slightly more quiet than I'd like but as I said I think that will change once everyone gets over the initial learning how to play getting used to everything ect.

Azazel - Order

I've been very impressed with the community so far.  I am Vendetta, which is a great community, but even the non guild players and other guilds of Order have seemed like mature, good players.  We are on a core server so of course you get those stupid names, which I hate, but from my experience these people with stupid names have been good partners in quests and RvR battles. 

I hope the great community continues on Azazel and there isn't a sudden rush of greedy little kids that hurt our cause on our server:)

I'm on Volknar.  I play a Witch Elf as my main.  Level 15 now.  No one talks.  I've been trying to get into a guild since launch and since no one talks, no one uses chat, I never get a response.

Im on Karag Eight Peaks- order side, and find the community to be generally ok, although quiet sometimes. most of the time people wont talk much to you but there are some that do and they seem nice.

Normally i would always go for the rp servers but had such bad experience on AoC i didnt see the point. I saw a lot of stupid names on there and when you said anything you was given abuse for being a rper. So i given up rp in an mmo i think that time is past. Keeping it for the tabletop game and just playing this as a pvp game.

One of the pro rp things about this game is the way all the races have been stereotyped. In a way you can actually FEEL there is 25 years of stories and background info behind them. They have all very distinct identities, even the zealous humans. Which makes it very easy to get into a role, imo.

Being a gobbo and playing one, in a greenskin RP guild is way more fun then I had expected. Everyone is having a go with the lingo; in guild chat, party chat, scenario's, etc. Catchy stuff.
