3 ways to level as well..

1. PvE questing / Dungeons

2. Battlegrounds - PvP

3. RvR - PvP

To me, its hard to focus on which I should do when I log onto this game.

Lack of content in this game for leveling, I dont think so.

I just believe alot of people are just burnt from mmorpg's and look for any excuse to get out, which I cant blame them, mmorpg's are a HUGE timesink of ones life.

with no offical foruns all the people not knowing all this is mythic's fault not the player you have a game that if done well with communication might go somewhere but i'm not seaching 4-6 3rd party sites for info that should be found on an offical forum i know they stated not having any from the start but times change you change with them or get left behind mythic chooses to be left behind

Its a personal preference thing, some people like being told where to go and how to level, other people prefer figuring it out and exploring.  To say  that Mythic should not have done it is to admit that you prefer to be told what to do, and so there are games for people of your opinion; go play them.

My soon-to-be-flamed opinion:  "Good" PvP is held up as the holy grail of mmo's by many hard-core gamers, and the inability or unwillingness of developers to focus on this has allowed the topic to persist, because no one, until possibly WAR, was able to deliver the goods.  Now that someone has delivered a smooth-running PvP based game (some will count Guild Wars or Eve as a prior example, I don't for a couple reasons: Eve isn't really combat in the same way as other MMO's; Guild Wars is heavily channeled and restricted), the truth emerges:  PvP is boring after a while, because there is no written content, just the same fight over and over again.  The much maligned PvE is addictive because it is written material, and inherently exploratory.

Reminds me of when a political party that shall remain nameless kept harping about what would happen when it finally got control, then people found out how bankrupt its ideas were.

Why worry about life, you won''t survive it anyway!

Of course people will hit wall, when you go through the game within a week or so. Let's hear from those rank 25-30, what is your renown rank, of your crafting lvl.

realmwar.warhammeronline.com/realmwar/CharacterSearch.war

Check these people, the first 20 are between rank 34-40 and if you look at their renown they all have rank 12-20, except maybe 3-4 players. So do not tell me you did everything to lvl. You did all the quests and you probably ignore all chapters PQs and you did not much of the scenarios while you were in tier 2. If you try to hit 40 as fast as possible but you only do 1 thing out of 3 that gives you XP, I have no pity for you and you did not understand the way the game works, understand that WAR is a PvP game with PvE, so if you thought you could get there only with PvE, clearly this game is not for you. Of course now your in tier 3 and you realise the mistake you made and you want to blame it on the game, but it is your own fault if you outrank everyone and now the only thing left you can do is questing.

it's funny... for months you get people complaining WAR is going to be just like WoW and then when it turns out to be a 100% different game everyone crys its not like WoW....

I feel the opposite. And in the game which you exclude (EVE), the PvP is not the same fight over and over again. There aren't the basic character classes repeatedly respawning after death, which you know how to counter just because it's that class and you can kill them the same way each time. A possible exception is POS warfare, and even then there are tactical and strategic variables.

Astralgeth:  I defer to your longer experience with Eve.  Anyway, I should have been more moderate in the way I put it.  PvP is ultimately boring to ME.  Obviously many find it compelling.

I guess maybe a difference in goals is in play here:  I like cooperating with other people to defeat imaginary enemies.  I was never a sports person or a fire-in-the-belly competitor in real life, either. As soon as people start beating their chests in an MMO, I'm hitting ignore, it's deeply unattractive to me. I know there is a wide range of personalities who like PvP, from goodnatured competition to borderline sociopaths, so I'm not trying to disrespect people.

I'm still waiting for a game with a non-fantasy setting with really good writing and deep, rich PvE content.

I will say the best way to level on Warhammer in my opinion is to be in RVR Que 24/7. While waiting, do quests and party quests. When it's ready, find a spot and then join. Once out, go at questing again. It's very fast and you level your renown rank just as fast as leveling at first. I'm level 13 and my renown rank is almost 13 as well. Got 13 in about 9 hours now. Not as fast as some but hey, it's fast for me. I only hop on for a few hours a day but when I'm on I knock out a few levels. RVR gives an average of 7k experience. Atm I have around 80k for level 13. 12 or so rvr's and you're solid. I usually never make under 7k experience in  RVR's. Questing always gives you an extra 2k-4k while waiting...so in between your killing making 500-1,000 from killing from each quest and ur making 2k-4k from quests....so 4k x 12 thats 48k exp right there, lol.  Really when you're done with 6 rvrs depending on the time frame, you can reach another level at level 10-13...but it really depends on the time frame. Time was good today for me. Did some party questing, went to some r
