As a casual WOW player, i got bored with the game as soon as it began with Group quests. I would spend hours finding people who would come do the quest with me.
I was wondering if this is the case with WAR, or can it be played as single player if you so choose? I enjoy doing the group quests, but fail to see why i should have to wait around for people to play the game. |

Somehow I knew in hell there would be mushrooms. |
Most of the quests can be solo'd, and sometimes the first stages of public quests.. certain places like dungeons will require a group though. |

You can solo all the way to Rank 40 if you so desire. Bear in mind though that a big part of PvE is the Public Quest system, which you can just "jump into" and participate in with others players, without actually having to group with them. That said, there's usually a lot of Public Quest groups in any zone. The game is quite social as it makes grouping very easy and fluid. I've never grouped as much in any MMO as I have in WAR. It just comes so natural, especially with the open party system that allows people to invite themselves. But if you don't want to group, you never have to. But you won't be able to do dungeons and RvR successfully without a group, so you'll be missing out on a lot of content if you decide to solo exclusively. |

WAR can be played solo. Actually levelling is easy in WAR. Finding groups in WAR is not that hard, just walk into a zone and look for groups out there. However, it is not necessary to join a group to do the group events like PQ. Just drop in, shoot or heal and at the end your contribution will be matched against others for a shot at some drops. |

there is more than enough to do solo wise to keep you busy you can grind to 40 without ever doing a dungeon or a public quest I just dont see the point in playing a MMO if you want to do that though just get a good single player RPG.
WAR's grouping system is massively different to other games also wherein they dont invite you, you invite yourself to the group and the group isnt restricted to 6 in size as when its getting full you just convert it to a 24 man warband TBH anyone who says they cant get a group in WAR is a moron or a liar never once have i logged on and not been able to get a group instantaneous, they might not be doing the exact public quest or the exact dungeon I wanted to but who cares if your with a bunch of friendly people and are having fun.
TBH I would be very suprised if WAR's grouping system and the public quest system isnt stolen for a lot of future MMO's it is the most innovative stride forward MMO's have taken in a long time and has got rid of one of the largest banes that keeps players from other games in group wait times just to do anything effective.
Vanguard i could solo mobs or spend 2 hrs spamming for a group and run a dungeon and still get more xp from the dungeon run that I ever could solo, WOW im guessing is kind of the same with larger gains from dungeons but requires a wait to get a group, WAR has took that rolled it into a Football and booted it out the window with its systems. |

Everyone is sitting in the war camp getting the two scenario quests and doing one scenario after the other. There's no grouping, no conversation. Might as well be a first person shooter. |

Easy peasy and if you feel like chatting, go on and chat. But don't forget to kill at the same time. On the other hand, if you think grouping is shouting "Looking for group! Plox!" for hours, then you won't find it in WAR. |

Exactly!
LOVE the solo challenge, love to test my mettle. Had a little more trouble finding Order players who wanted to knock heads in Emksrank than I did with finding a group. Open Groups are located as soon as I enter a zone and I can always just join a PQ. Scenarios auto queue me into a group and so for cooperative play, things work out nicely. RP Server if you want to actually talk to another human being and have an intelligent conversation more times than you would anywhere else. | |
