QUESTIONS:

1. What is the difference between /aid and /assist?

2.  Let's say it's me and a second person in the same party, do I need to click /assist between every combat or is there a way I can default to always assist?

3. As a Disciple of Khaine, some of my abilities damage my foe and 'heal my defensive target'. How do I assign a defensive target other than myself?

4. Let's say it's just me and another person in a party. How do I quickly see what number they are? Are they number #2 or if they are the leader of the party are they number 1? My name is always at the top of the party on the left, so I just think that's because it defaults that way. I can not figure out if the other person is #2 or #1.

Truth is only the mass acceptance of an opinion.

1. Dunno

2. Dunno

3. The defensive target is whoever you click that's friendly.  They will be the name under your target.

4. Hit the F buttons.  You're F1.  The next down the line is F2 and so on.

#3 -Can you explain then how do I engage an attack?

So Disciple of Khaine soul rend attacks my opponent and heals my 'defensive target'. How do I target my opponent and a defensive target?

That is where  I think /aid and /assist may come in, but can't figure out how to use them or if they are assigned.

You just click on each one and they're both chosen.  You'll see the targets name and the defensive targets name below that.

you can have TWO targets, one friendly one enemy

I believe Aid targets as friendly unit, ie for heals

Assist gives you their enemy target

As far as I know!

Don't know about the first two either, but you are able to have a defensive target and attackable target selected at the same time. The one you are attacking is on top and red and the defensive one is right below and green. So if you do x dmg and heal defensive target x amount per tick then it would be dmg and healing on the two selected.

do I have to reapply between combats?

I can't seem to figure out if it took or not, it's like "LEft control shift F2" or something and so I am wondering if it actually got assigned. I just want to let the blademistress be my healing target and drop a heal on them unless I specify myself.

Common Sense - The ultra rare loot with extreme decay.

F1 will target yourself.F2 will target next in line and so on. So you can switch between oarty members quickly to allow for those heals as long as that person is within range. Tab targets next closes mob.

You will auto support (heal) your defensive target when you have him targeted. If you have an ability that deals damage to a target and heals your defensive target, you target both the attack target and your defensive target (you can target 1 of each) and use the skill.

Quite simple actually.

But to answer your questions...

1. It's similar I believe, for each. Assist is for attacking your defensive targets target, aid is just targeting the defensive target...(I think).

And...I don't know for the other numbers.
