WAR (Warhammer Online)

     First the install was horible.  I had to hold my tung the right way and and read forum after forum how to get through the problem i was having only to find out everyone was having same problem with little help fix it.

     After an hour of trying to figure that out i was lucky enough to just spit on my disk and it worked apperantly they ship the disk dirty.  so i finally got it installed and i am now playing.  im not very impressed with charactor creation and graphics are not that great.  My advise is let this game go a while before buying and see how it turns out. im going to play for a month and see if i injoy it more.  maybie the content will make up for the turd like graphics.

So your advice for others is to wait awhile because you don't like the graphics and had to spit on your disc?

LOL, actually for me it was the best install I've ever had with an MMORPG game...I bought it from direct2drive.

Its just my first impression.  i  wish i would have waited to get more info about the game.  ill repost if it gets better you dont need to get offended by my opinion.  im only one person.  install was harsh and im not getting the game yet so im playing a little longer to see if its better than my first impression. flame on

I baught mine from gamestop.  for some reason i was having problems installing art.pym file or something like that.  I looked at the disk and there was no dirt or dust on it.  then read some forums and some people sujested whiping it off so i did and it worked.  lol must have just been dirty from factory i keep my pc area pretty clean and dust it out regularly.

I got my disk from BestBuy. I put the disk in and it started to install np. I had to put the 2nd cd in  to finish the install.

I wasn't trying to be rude or flame you,.. I just don't understand why you would tell others to hold off based on a bad disc or graphics.. 

Have fun with the game.

I already play the game and am having a blast, dont need your review..thanks anyway.

 Dude, you give bad review to a game, by not even playing it. Man... make a post after you get atleast 15 lvls. Do some PQs, kill some stuff, Do some scenarios, Defend or take over someones keep.

 Btw what kind of installing problem you had, which everybody have, but majority of us havent seen it? :D

I had no problems with installation. Maybe you got smudge on the disk when putting it in the drive? As for you liking the game or not. Hey, we all have our own opinions. To me the graphics are just as good as anything else out there.  Character creation could have more options, but there aren't too many games out there that offer even as much as WH.
