Fanboi is not a word, it is just bad grammar. |
"Can't agree more. I wonder if Smedly has kids? If so, does he tell them that he manages SWG? Would you want your friends to know that your Dad is the one that killed SWG? I'm sure that SOE will get to do more fleecing before the game's plug finally gets pulled."
That made me laugh. |

Wow, I almost forgot about that fiasco. I did get my money back on that big mess. Now when you go to Mustafar there is absolutely not a soul there, and I remember when it first opened, it was a big busy, buggy mess! I bet it killed them to hand out all those refunds. What ethics, Yoda would be appalled :P |

watched a convention video where smeed was talking, saied yes he does have kids, and "they play and love SWG, and that its easy enough to learn that his 8 (?) y/o can figure it out and enjoy playing it" so they took our beloved game, and dumbed it down to the point kids that honestly shouldent be in any mmo.. are playing it today.

How about TCG? IMO, 1 of the largest fleeces of all. They take "wants" from the player base though-out the years, add them into TCG, shafting crafters, and turn SWG into a paid subscription - micro. SOE takes on "The Quest for more money" from what little player base it has left. Incredible. |

Your current players are your foundation for future success. |

I have to think that whoever decided to switch from crafting to looting overnight didn't really think about players' feelings or investment. They'd have to score very low on any empathy scale. My friends who were tailors, armoursmiths, weaponsmiths etc. had the absolutely coolest shops. I'd say by far the most beautiful though were the tailor shops where people took time to display their crafted goods just like you'd see them in a rl department store or specialty boutique. It was really something to see, and I very much enjoyed visiting those places, buying things for myself, and getting gifts for friends. So thank you for the enjoyment you added to my gaming experience :) SOE can't touch the memories, and we did have some very good times didn't we ^_^. |

Don't forget about the mayors! I've seen some amazingly decorated city halls. There was one clan on Bloodfin ( I can't remeber the name atm) that had made an AT-AT from sratch inside their city hall. It was the single most impressive thing I'd seen anyone do in SWG! |

There was a city hall on Ahazi, a city located south of the mountains on Naboo, near the Gungan Sacred Place, that had inside it a map of the city in minature. The town long since has poofed, probably four years ago (Naboo on Ahazi was a test bed of player cities), but it was an absolutely amazing use of whatever objects were available to put the map together. Very cool. |

| CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested. Once a denizen of Ahazi |

Ah look everyone a troll has wondered into the refuge area to talk down to us "kids". Thank for your concern but I'm 30 and no I won't get over it. If you want to continue to feed SOE money for this steaming pile of shit be my guest, but unless you were around pre nge you have no clue what has taken place over the years so please be quiet and let the big people talk. Enjoy your recycled graphics resources and your skeleton team slapping together more craptastic content for people just like you. The game is a sinking ship and everyone knows that outside of a handful of the die hards that just can't let go, so.... maybe you should get over it and exit the refuge to the current players forum, sound good champ? |
