She proved she knows more about what's going on than Biden the Gaffe. |

I would say that Palin out-debated Biden and considering that the pundits expected her to get blown away, this is a huge victory for her. But just as was discussed in the first presidential debate, will it have any significant impact on the election? The odds are against it. But at least she put to rest the ridiculous notion McCain made a bad choice by picking Palin. To show some support for Biden's performance (it pains me to do this), I think he did a fine job considering all eyes were on Palin. He pretty much had everything to lose and nothing to gain. So he has nothing to hang his head low about, but this was Palin's night. |

I thought they both did well they both had miss speaks but over all they both contributed to the process. I found myself more interested in what they had to say then their running mates. |

Don't be ridiculous, Biden did better in the debate by far. He has over 30 years of experience in the senate and it showed. All journalists and newspapers are saying how Palin didn't answer the questions directly and avoided answering a lot of them by going on about taxes and other unrelated issues. I agree with them. He destroyed her on Iraq by putting her in the corner about the time table of redrawal, something the republicans have taken on as their case. She couldn't rebuttal. She didn't even use the general's name correctly and Biden had to restrain himself from correcting her stupidity. She's a political airhead. |

I guess thats one biased way of looking at it. Unfortunately, most polls dont agree with you. In fact, its not even marginal. Biden won in a large majority. Even the state of Alaska. |

I didn't really care for either of them. Neither landed any good blows. Like watching a boxing match where all the guys do is hug the whole round. I don't see a clear winner here. Which is probably why everyone is claiming their side won. |

After watching the debate last night I think either way our country is finally going to see a change. However, if Mccain gets in now I'm thinking he's going to be just like the Bush administration. When will we get change? I truly feel it will be if Obama and Biden gets in office. I liked Biden and think if anything happened to Obama Biden would make a wonderful president. I was sick of hearing her say that Mccain is a maverick. Mccain will keep the economy the same. He isn't change. Obama is. TBH with you, I was actually considering voting for Mccain because my whole family is full of Republicans. However, after doing my research for the past 6 months I'm really considering Obama. I don't necessarily want him in office, but think he'll make better choices than mccain. He'll get this country back where it use to be. We'll gain respect again as a country and we'll start getting out of this economic black hole we are in. Palin surprised me last night though. She did very well. |

Biden with his 35 years of experience used the standard politician template for debating, Palin's debating technique was out of the box and she seemed to be able to communicate in a way that most people could identify...she tells it like it is and expresses her opinions . Your darn right I liked Palin's approach. she speaks her mind in a passionate way. I think this appraoch is something we need in our country right now. I am tired of politicians who fall under political pressure rather than saying what they really believe. < | |
