WoW and their PvP system was designed specifically with people like you in mind. You don't even need to play, just join Battlegrounds and go AFK and you'll get superior gear. |

i have a 5 month old and come home from work every day while my wife leaves for work to watch my son and im capable of watching him and playing AOC or madden on a regular basis. its not hard just learn your kids schedule. have em close to you so you can interact with them while playing your game babies dont require a whole lot and they are quite easy once you get used to the basics |

Honestly I would just stick to single player games. My brother use to play counter strike for hours and hours everyday (typical for mmorpg players aswell) and he wanted to focus much more on school so he switched to single player games. The best part for him was that 1) no more social aspect so he was forced to find real life shit to do; 2) he was able to PAUSE and SAVE anytime he wanted too.

Thank you, That's what I meant, if its to take an hour nap or say the wifey is holding him/her i' could do something like play an MMO that doesn't require much attention.. I didnt mean to make this sound like i was taking away time from the baby.. just something to do if im caring for the baby but have a little time to squeeze something in, and if its checking an auction house for a few minutes or dilly dallying on some new area... yeah, Perhaps it was best to not make a topic like this, It's making me look like a poor father but I didn't mean to come off like that. |

Originally posted by Noggin I've played EVE and while its a very , go away and do your thing and come back game It's not really my type of game. I may have to keep playing warhammer then, the scenarios are just short enough to make good use of time, but those times require a lot of attention, as short as it may be... |

I'd say try EVE out, you could be running missions then if you need to you can just warp out and dock in a station, no worries. Gets a bit depressing when a skill takes week to finish though..... |

Happiness lies to those who cry. |
try magic world online or those other mmorpgs with legal bots (i think granado espada also has one) at least you could take care of the baby while the legal bot does the grinding for you. congrats! |

Gamers who use RMT are like athletes who use steroids. |
Wizard 101 Has a free trial and is suprisingly fun for a game marketed towards kids. Most games including EQ2 you cannot just stop playing in the middle of battle and expect not to be punished for dying. Not to mention you will definitely piss any other players off you may be grouped with. Wizard 101 is very forgiving though since there is essentially no death penalty and the way it's designed, you can drop out of battle and it won't impact others you are grouped with too much. |
