1 Is crafting is in the game?

Yes but it's useless and unfinshed.

2 are there a whole lot of colors with the magic in the game. a little is fine i just dont wanna get an epileptic attack.

It's doesn't go overboard with them, about the same as other games

3 are there mounts?

Not that I know of

4 how is pvp? what are the rewards for killing another player?

Exp and Renown points(to buy loot)

5 is this game addictve?

Depends how much you like EQ style combat and pvp mini games.

6 HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Same as other games.

There IS crafting in the game, but its not great.  Don't expect a very diverse crafting experience.

There are no HUGE crazy colors all over the place.  Alot of the ability animations are toned down.

Yes you get your first mount at Level 20

PVP is what this game is all about.  When you kill another player you get XP for killing the player. Renown for killing the player, and possible loot drops.(not loot from the actual player, random loot, but still very good armor and weapon pieces)

The game is only as addictive as you let it be.  There are times when I sneak every hour I can just to play it.. but overall I try to balance my gameplay time.. so its not AS addicting to me.

This game... is 50 dollars.

1 Is crafting is in the game?

Yes, but not as much as other games, no armor smith here, everything is consumables of one form or another.

2 are there a whole lot of colors with the magic in the game. a little is fine i just dont wanna get an epileptic attack.

Personal preference, see screenshots of the game.

3 are there mounts?

Yes, you can buy one at level 20, for 15g.

4 how is pvp? what are the rewards for killing another player?

PvP is awesome, and yes, you can level off doing nothing but PvP, its one of many ways/things to do in the game.

5 is this game addictve?

Again, persional prefrence. Cant answer for you.

6 HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

14.99 Month.

Yes there are horses. I think you can get one at 20.

However, keep in mind this game is more about RvR pvp (especially on open RvR servers) and pvp mini games. It is not about crafting.

the whole sense of the game, from what I've gotten so far at lvl 18 is that Destruction (chaos) has started an invasion and you are making your way through your territory on the day of that invasion.

But it is less about being in a world and more about the pvp in that world.

So think some WoW PvE with some RvR and more Guild Wars type of arenas.

Well, that was a useful answer #2 .. lets try this.

1.  Yes there is craqftign.  you have diffrent gathering types, such as Scavanging( gettign from dead humanoid bodies), butchering (getting items from dead monsters). Salvaging - (getting items off of other items) and Cultivaltion - (planting and harvesting seeds).  From this you can then use the items in Apothecary and Talisman making.  Now Salvaging usually only gives you things fro Talisman making so they kindof go together.  Talismans are buffs which you can add to sokets in items and armor. Apothecary makes potions for health, AP, Str etc.

2.  There are some spell effects, but they are not that huge to cause much issues.

3.  At level 20 you can buy a mount, which is race specific.  The cost is fairly reasonable so you wont have to grind forever to afford a mount.

4 RvR is one thing that Mythic has done good in the past, and in this game I believe they brought over the good parts. There are scenarios (capture the flag or run with the item) type games where you queue up, and when the queue timers pop you are all placed into a instance where you fight each other for Reknown points.

Open RvR is where you walk into a RvR Lake and start beating up on the opposition, taking Objectives and gaining reknown.

Keep Sieges and City Sieges are lareger scale RvR more in the line of Daoc raids.

Reknown unlocks items and skills at the reknown merchants.

5.  The game is very addictive and fun, but can also be played by the casual player very well.  If you do not like RvR all the time, there is plenty of PvE and storyline to be had.

6.  you can find many sites on the web that sell the game, and it is the standard price for games at this time.  The monthly fee is also in line with other games.

You have to remember, something many have forgotten, WAR is not a EQ2, WoW, AC or LoTRO type mmo. It is all about being in a huge war. RvR and PvP are the core of the game. Not crafting, socializing, housing, etc. It is about being in a war and WAR does this very well. The graphic are fantastic and the game performs really great on my system. One suprise was I found the pve to be fun and a lot deeper then I expected.

Crafting is in the game but not a main part of game. I have done a bit and while it is interesting I found it boring but I find crafting boring in all mmos so I am not a good judge. I am a killer and WAR gives me a lot of way to do this.

There are nice spell and light effects in game but not a light show like in EQ2. Well done but not over the top.

There are mounts and they are pretty neat. Mounts are race specific and look great with cool animations. Dwarves fly around in a little helocopter thing. I just got my horse mount for my empire bright wizard.

The game is all about RvR and PvP and I find it a really great time. I was never much into pvp until WAR I love it and 2/3 of my game time is now spent in pvp fights.

I find the game very addictive. I play EQ2 and WAR makes a great compliment to that game. When I want to kick ass and raise hell I log into WAR. When I want the persistent world thing with all the stuff that goes with it like housing. I log into EQ2.

Price is standard to most mmos out at the moment.

There is crafting, but currently, it is merely 'meh'. You can choose from 4 gathering skills - Butchering, Scavenging, Cultivation, and Magical Salvaging; and 2 'item creation' skills - Talisman Making and Apothecary.

2 are there a whole lot of colors with the magic in the game. a little is fine i just dont wanna get an epileptic attack.

The most colorful magic comes from the Magus. As a Magus of Tzeentch, he utitlizes the Winds of Chaos in spectacularly bright displays. The Magus has tons of purple, pink, blue and green spells. But they look totally awesome. Pandemoinum and Chaotic Rift especially. The Zealot (another Tzeentch worshiper) also has some brighter magic, but the rest of the casters spells are pretty much all of one color. The BW is mostly red and browny stuff, the Archmage white (with a touch of rainbow) and the Shaman green. The RP's a mix of the rest.

3 are there mounts?

Yes. And there is a different mount for each race - including Orcs and Goblins.

4 how is pvp? what are the rewards for killing another player?

This is really objective. I, personally, ADORE the PvP.
