I hate most metal so I'm biased here, but this is just an assault to your ears, a 9 year old playing drums on an upside down can makes more enjoyable music.

Because it's enjoyable.

Same reason I respond to pointless things, it's enjoyable.

Believe it or not music is a cultivation, like taste.

Nobody starts off going "WOW FISH EGGS SWEET" or what not, things take time and if you go in with the mind the "FISH EGGS SUCK" then fish eggs will suck, no matter how good they are.

For instance, you just stated your whole thread about a rather talented metal/rock (Really they are more 80's rock than the 90-2008 metal we see err hear) being horrible when in fact they are not.

Above average (barely), regardless it's decent music you simply have not cultivated your taste for that genre nor should or will you.

So whats your taste in music? Why would you go to a concert with your taste in music?

Yea they aren't that bad, I mean the singers voice is a bit high for my tastes but they don't "suck" as the Op says. Metal takes a true appreciation of music. You might be surprised that many who enjoy metal also enjoy classical.  Metal takes actual talent to play.

That's mastered music, it has nothing to do with playing instruments live anymore, it went through mix tables and equalizers until it sounded good.

They suck, and I don't want to stereotype metal music here, but most current metal music, with very few exceptions, is worse than a cat howling at the moon.

Going to a concert because one band can actually play and 20 others sound like that?

I listen to state radio in the car to avoid having to listen to this type of music, music being a compliment for this trash.

 Like I said you linked a video that was put up with the purpose to illistrate a bad performance by the poster.   

Then you make a thread called "why most metal sucks" .  

So I posted how ignorant your topic seemed to be and linked some of their music that wasn't crappy.   Only took a quick search on youtube btw. 

Now its some crap their not musicians because they use equalizers and mix tables?  Right......................   cause no one else uses such equipment to preform. 

If you don't like certain of music that's fine I could careless.  Not everyone likes all forms of music.   I just pointed out how poorly worded and thought out your topic was.
