Shows that people are disappointed with current armor choices (hence Cultural and PvP additions just in or coming).

Weapons colour and diversity are also ok and good.

Also shows the atmosphere in the majority of zones people thought excellent.

This one is interesting too:

Have you played AoC continously since you originally purchased the game?

Any new or returning player to WOW, send me a PM for some help getting started.

20% of players with an active account (can post on forums) no longer play the game.  Talk about free money for Funcom :)    That can't all be people with 6 month subscriptions.. wonder what the deal is there.  I would expect most of the people who were going to quit would have quit already.  But it appears there are people who just recently decided to quit and still have some gametime left... seems strange since the game has actually improved over the past month.

Could be casuals reaching endgame, or people just getting sick of doing the same thing nightly. They still have plenty of endgame issues to resolve, we've yet to see the introduction of anything in that regard.New dungeons, new items (pve based), Bosses etc.. Not to mention the fugitive system.

I am interested in hearing what you base this on? Is it that you don't wanna Siege or be part of a guild? Or perhaps it is that you don't want to PvP or  RP? What is it, this is very confusing as I play lvl 80 and have great fun several times a week?

I base that on the fact none of it has been addressed? PVP is enough for me personally, however those bred on games like EQ or other PVE based games may feel a lack in those regards. Other than that I was merely taking a guess at why people may be leaving.

I know it can be confusing to you that some people like different thing, but it is true.

My dog has "great fun" with a bone, but that does not mean I'm going to enjoy eating one. I tried eating the "bone" that is AoC for many months but no matter what I kept telling myself, it just tasted like crap.

See, I just can't get my finger onewhy 20% of people who currently have an active account are no longer playing.  I really don't think it is 'casual' players, since even casual players would have been at 80 by July.. and anyone that casual wouldn't be part of a big pvp guild, which means endgame lack of content would be much more severe for them.

Did AOC really sell that many 6 month subsciptions at launch?

I bought one, didnt take the survey, but for any purposes Funcom could choose to count me as a subscriber until December.  I was actually shocked to discover that I could play until December as I forgot about the free month.  I, like so many others, had such high hopes for this game.  I was personally hoping that the game community would be more of an adult base.  I was hoping for something not quite as family oriented as LOTRO.

Alas, we dare to dream, but not to hope.

I read the online results of the current conan poll last week.  This poll showed that less than 50% of the people actually still playing the game were satisfied with it.  It showed 48% didnt plan to resub after their time ran out. I I dont what poll avery is covering here, but there is a set of on going polls and none has looked as bad as this one, not even the one during the mass exodus that was july, august and september. Ill try to find a link if work is light enough today.

Some people are like slinkies, they dont really have a purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
