Any new or returning player to WOW, send me a PM for some help getting started.

I found this article funny.  Apparently Jacobs didn't.  He is fuming over on another forum.. and has vowed to take the 'gloves off' when talking about WOW.

Apparently the offending part of the article was when the WOW developer questioned why a game would keep up an NDA until the launch of the game.  In my opinion, this is a very valid question.    You see this decision playing out on Warhammer since every city seige that has happened so far has been bugged and exploited.  When beta testers are 'hushed' there is no bully pulpit to get get glaring exploits fixed.

I also found it amusing that the WOW dev experienced a lot of what the rest of us did.   Very little RvR and the majority of the game is spent grinding scenarios.

I think the state of Warhammer is pretty apparent when the first 'state of the game' speech will come the day before first renewals and will amount to  'please don't quit'.   Maybe the second 'state of the game' speech will have a mop in the background and you can sing Baby come back..

The NDA was lifted well before release.  The beta testers did test the top tier content.  I have a friend who did, and told me that he loved it, and that it needed some tweaking.

I went into the game knowing exactly what to expect because they beta testers did test this content.

Yes there was testing at cap, I even have screenshots of it.

This is a screenshot of Order players prepairing for siege outside of the gates to IC in the Maw.

This is a screenshot inside of IC as we defend it from the onslaught of Order players.  Notice the burning tents.

You will not delete this post!

So is it really true that if Azrile bites you, in a matter of hours you'll turn into a WOW zombie and seek out the flesh of other non-WOW gamers?

And you were under NDA and couldn't talk about it on the forums.  The fact is, the day before the head start launched, there was an NDA that covered a large part of the game.

Say what you will, but the WOW dev was right.  Both Bioware and Blizzard lift any NDA well before the game is launched.

Mythic is being just as deceptive as Funcom was.   Citing accounts created (which includes preorders) rather than boxes sold.   They are going through the exact same 'marketing' process Funcom did.   NDA beta up til launch, misleading numbers (1.5M boxes 'sold' to retailers).  They are doing the exact same things that Funcom did right before resubcription dates (big hype speeches and posts).

Blizzard anounced 10.7M active accounts in July.  Do you think we'll hear how many players renewed in Warhammer?

You can either agree with me or be wrong!

Just a curiosity but what level were you for the city testing and did you test the whole thing at once or just parts?

You are not from a FFxx game. You really do fail at life. Please stop the bull shit.
